The original diner experience that you've been looking for. It felt like I was taking a step into a Time Machine & going back 20 years with the vintage atmosphere. First off, I suggest coming here with a big appetite. The menu has a massive variety & the portions are very generous (as are the prices). In the few times I've been here, I've ordered more food than I'm proud of including classic breakfast, chicken poutine, Philly steak sandwich, grilled cheese, clubhouse, hot chicken sandwich, & more. The fries are some of the best in Montreal & the poutine is banging. They have comfy booth seating here as well. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a snack, this is the spot.

Hard working cooks, servers & staff provide great quality Greek/Québec-style diner fare; which for these times is fairly priced. Listing since established 1952 on their old school front signage the large menu above the open kitchen, seating & decor are fitting of the era - despite some likely tweaks & slight updates/'fixes' over the decades. On my first visit I got a freshly made tuna sandwich on toasted brown bread with tomato & cheese - that hit the spot. However, what really did & was devoured to the last morsel was their classic club sandwich which despite being a mountain of food is comprised of all the requisite platting components (the triple-decker sandwich cut in fours up the middle, the fresh cut fries to one side, plus the coleslaw & pickles balancing out the other of this heavy weight platter). The large fresh cut fries were moist & semi-sweet yet crispy enough on the outside, the sandwich was well constructed & the whole wheat toasted bread layers were interspersed with plenty of moist-enough sliced chicken, well thought out tomato pieces, shredded lettuce & crushed well cooked bacon. The two pieces of pickle were bright green vinegar-style & the coleslaw was ample & the same one they use for their all dressed hotdogs, which works well to cut the touch of fry grease. Their house blend coffee worked well for pre- & post- meal sippage. I guess over half a century of experience does matter. Did I mention it's still family owned. Keep up the great work. I love this place. My buddy brought me for the best chicken sandwich he knew of, & indeed it was. Everything I have tried here is a cut above: the club sandwich, & simply two eggs & bacon. I had to ask the owner where he bought his bacon!
Very friendly staff that have fun with each other & customers while they're busy preparing your meals. You can tell they like each other & what they do! Big screen TV, watching hockey while enjoying an amazing poutine, great club sandwich, yummy burger & fries! A cozy old school diner made even better by the amazing staff & great food!
