Lanzhou Lamian, also known as Lanzhou Hand-Pulled Noodles, is a type of Chinese noodle dish that originated in Lanzhou, the capital city of Gansu province in China. It is a popular street food in China and can be found in many Chinese restaurants around the world.
The process of making Lanzhou Lamian is an art form in itself. The dough is made from wheat flour, water, and sometimes eggs. The dough is then hand-pulled, stretched, and folded in a specific way to create the thin, chewy noodles. The noodles are then boiled and served in a clear soup broth, which is made from beef bones, spices, and herbs. Thinly sliced beef, green onions, and cilantro are often added as toppings.
Nouilles KungFu earns praise for fresh, handmade noodles made on site, flavorful broths, and generous portions at reasonable prices. The open kitchen and the option to customize noodles by thickness, along with fast, attentive service in a cozy, small setting, contribute to an authentic and welcoming dining experience. Noodles are repeatedly described as chewy and well prepared, with many noting that the broth remains rich without becoming greasy as it cools. Beef and Lanzhou style soups are standout favorites, and many reviewers say they would definitely return, even as a few mention occasional longer waits, a busy atmosphere, or rooms that can get quite hot. Overall the reviews converge on high quality, consistent flavors, and strong value, making Nouilles KungFu a go-to spot for hand pulled noodles on the south shore.
Amazing noodle soup, hand-made & fresh noodles. The quality of the ingredients is top notch, & the meat is melt in your mouth delicious. If you're craving a delicious bowl of spicy noodles soup, I implore you to try it, you will be blown away.

I took food to go & it was delicious. The lady in the front was super sweet & gave me broth when I thought I ordered a soup instead I ordered the special beef (which was delicious). I wouldn't just go there for the food but the lovely workers too
J'ai eu une très belle expérience au Nouilles KungFu. Les portions sont généreuses & la nourriture est super bonne. Le service était rapide & le serveur était courtois. Vraiment excellent ☺? J'y retournerais sans hésite

Amazing spot!
Very authentic food & so so so delicious!!
You can see the chef making the noodles in front of you, which I really enjoyed! It's impressive to watch them go at it!
100% will be back!
Toooo slow! Ordered 1 person meal on their website at 12:20, it said it will be ready at 12:48. Showed up at 12:50, they only started my order once they saw me…finally got it qt 1:17. Even tho food was decent, I will never come back as I can see all the people waiting in the restaurant on hard wood chairs!
I want to give a special shoutout to the server Tim. He was very busy being the only waiter on the floor & he apologized profusely for his slow service (which by the way was still very fast). He ended up giving us complimentary sodas & even brought me back the wallet I forgot to my car. He's the best & they care about their service.
The food is also amazing & authentic. The portions are generous & the broths are flavorful. 10/10 would recommend & go again
