Lanzhou Lamian, also known as Lanzhou Hand-Pulled Noodles, is a type of Chinese noodle dish that originated in Lanzhou, the capital city of Gansu province in China. It is a popular street food in China and can be found in many Chinese restaurants around the world.
The process of making Lanzhou Lamian is an art form in itself. The dough is made from wheat flour, water, and sometimes eggs. The dough is then hand-pulled, stretched, and folded in a specific way to create the thin, chewy noodles. The noodles are then boiled and served in a clear soup broth, which is made from beef bones, spices, and herbs. Thinly sliced beef, green onions, and cilantro are often added as toppings.
Overall, Nouilles KungFu earns high marks for fresh, handmade noodles and flavorful broths, with generous portions and friendly, efficient service. Reviewers highlight watching the noodles being made in the open kitchen, the variety of bowls from pork and beef soups to spicy options, and the strong value offered. A few notes include occasional waits during busy times and a lively atmosphere, but the experience is described as authentic, comforting, and highly recommendable.
Nous sommes allés souper & avons commandé la soupe aux nouilles avec du porc braisé & la soupe aux nouilles avec du boeuf & du chou mariné. Les deux étaient délicieuses !
The ramen here is pretty decent. Just don't let the noodles sit in the broth for too long, or they'll lose their springy texture. The cold side dishes are light & refreshing as well. Overall, if you don't feel like cooking, it's a solid choice.
My husband & I had been looking for a place to eat for at least an hour this February 14th, & then this spot appeared in our path!
We arrived just in time & were lucky to get a table. The noodles are made fresh on site - super fresh - & the broth was absolutely delicious. I dare to say it's the first noodle soup we've had that tastes this good & doesn't become greasy as it cools down.
We will definitely be coming back.
It's a small, very pleasant & cozy place, with great service & very affordable prices.
The food is very good. I try to take different noodles every time & I'm never disappointed. The service is also amazing & the price very reasonable I will continue to go & recommend 100%
I only remembered to take a photo halfway through because I was too eager to start eating. The noodles were wonderfully chewy, it was fascinating to watch the handmade noodle-making process, & the staff were very attentive & polite. Overall, the dining experience was extremely satisfying & enjoyable.
Noodles in my dish were undercooked & extremely salty. I usually eat salty but I was not able to finish my dish. The'sauce' was a soup of soy sauce & salt. My husband's lan zhou noodle were overcooked & just fell apart in the soup. The broth was ok. Its not the first time. This place just doesn't get the noodle consistency right.

Les nouilles sont vraiment délicieuses, l'ambiance est chaleureuse & confortable, & le service est également très attentionné, ce qui rend l'expérience du repas très agréable.
The food was excellent & very fresh. The noodles were perfectly made, & watching the chef prepare them was impressive-he is truly talented. The open-kitchen concept is creative & entertaining, making the experience even more enjoyable. The server was polite & attentive, & the restaurant itself is cozy & well designed. There is also plenty of parking available in the plaza, which is very convenient. I will definitely return.
