Lanzhou Lamian, also known as Lanzhou Hand-Pulled Noodles, is a type of Chinese noodle dish that originated in Lanzhou, the capital city of Gansu province in China. It is a popular street food in China and can be found in many Chinese restaurants around the world.
The process of making Lanzhou Lamian is an art form in itself. The dough is made from wheat flour, water, and sometimes eggs. The dough is then hand-pulled, stretched, and folded in a specific way to create the thin, chewy noodles. The noodles are then boiled and served in a clear soup broth, which is made from beef bones, spices, and herbs. Thinly sliced beef, green onions, and cilantro are often added as toppings.
Nouilles KungFu earns praise for fresh, handmade noodles made on site, flavorful broths, and generous portions at reasonable prices. The open kitchen and the option to customize noodles by thickness, along with fast, attentive service in a cozy, small setting, contribute to an authentic and welcoming dining experience. Noodles are repeatedly described as chewy and well prepared, with many noting that the broth remains rich without becoming greasy as it cools. Beef and Lanzhou style soups are standout favorites, and many reviewers say they would definitely return, even as a few mention occasional longer waits, a busy atmosphere, or rooms that can get quite hot. Overall the reviews converge on high quality, consistent flavors, and strong value, making Nouilles KungFu a go-to spot for hand pulled noodles on the south shore.
The food was excellent & very fresh. The noodles were perfectly made, & watching the chef prepare them was impressive-he is truly talented. The open-kitchen concept is creative & entertaining, making the experience even more enjoyable. The server was polite & attentive, & the restaurant itself is cozy & well designed. There is also plenty of parking available in the plaza, which is very convenient. I will definitely return.

Food is always good & comforting, service fast & courteous. I can't find a better place for a bowl of noodle soup. They make their fresh noodles by themselves & you can see them behind the kitchen window. Don't expect to go on a calm date tho as it's a little noisy but it's perfect for quick delicious family dinner.
I need to make this very clear. I am not a local resident, & I am not familiar with the local tax system. When I saw'TPS' on the bill, I genuinely thought it already included the tips, which is why I did not add an additional one. That was an honest misunderstanding.
However, tips are voluntary, not mandatory. As the owner, you should understand this. Speaking to a customer in a harsh tone or raising your voice over a tip is completely inappropriate & unprofessional.
I have paid my bill in full, & I do not owe you anything further. Your attitude was unacceptable, & I hope you reflect on it.
