Came in on a Friday night looking forward to trying the burgers. We waited over 30 minutes for drinks & nearly 40 more minutes without anyone taking our food order.
After more than an hour of waiting, we decided to leave. The response from staff was,'We're understaffed. Next time come when we're fully staffed if you want proper service.'
Being understaffed is a management problem, not a customer problem. If you know Fridays are busy, especially around Mount Royal, the restaurant should be prepared for it.
Unfortunately, we left hungry, disappointed, & without ever getting to try the food. A very poor first impression.
I've been here twice now, once was 5 years ago, & the last time was just on Sunday night. Both times I had consistently good food & service. This most recent time, I showed up with a very large group & they were super accommodating, figured out a great table set-up for us, & we got our food & drinks quickly. It was a mixed group of omnivores & vegetarians, & there were awesome options for everyone! I'll definitely be back!
Would not recommend! We went here because we wanted to the watch the game & grab some drinks & food. We were seated at the bar because none of the available tables were clean. Sat at the bar for 20 minutes with multiple attempts to flag someone to give us any attention. Ordered beers & asked for a menu. We were asked'no one brought you water or menus?'. No. Then we were given menus. 35 minutes go by. The tables previously dirty were seated & already had their food by our 6th attempt trying to again flag any staff & remind them that we were there. When we were finally able to order, we were informed that we were given old menus. By that point, we just closed out & left. Bartender seemed frustrated having to also do the job of food runners who seemed to not know what planet they were on.

Food was great. It would have been better if it didn't take an hour to come out. The service was good in the beginning, they seemed quite attentive until they brought us our drinks. They didn't come back until our food came out & by that point we were in desperate need of refills. When we asked for them, they were never brought to us so we had to eat without anything to drink. Very, very disappointing service to say the least.
Burger was overcooked, the bun was dry & tasteless. Tots arrived barely warm.
Slow service, about an hour between the time we got our seat & our food (place was far from full, about half capacity)
Cocktails were nice though.
Pretty disappointing overall, for 40+$ a burger & a drink, there are many better burger place.

Went an hour before closing, still had time to eat. But service was slow & we felt as if we bother. Other than that food was delicious & so were drinks

super delicious! From our phone call to see if they were open to the moment we left our waitress was extremely kind & friendly. It was natural which was nice to see at a restaurant. You can tell she likes her job. We sat outside which had a nice setup & umbrellas to cover from the hot weather. another bonus point was the waitress asked if we wanted an english menu which most restaurants dont. She was quick to refill the waters & even brought us extra napkins which is a plus for our. The prices are good & the portions are good for what you pay. The holy swiss burger was delicious & juicy. Every bite was great & the bun makes it not soggy or greasy at all. My wife had the siracha fish & chips & we got sweet potato fries which were to die for. The fish was lightly battered so you taste the fish in every bite. For once i finally had a burger that would make me come back. A huge menu to chose from , reasonable drink prices & extra side prices they dont rob your pocket here at all. Definitely will be back. Especially for a milk shake. they looked great. the area is beautiful so go for a walk before or after & enjoy !!!
