Reviews for Notre-Boeuf-de-Grâce highlight a polarizing dining experience, where many patrons praise the delicious burgers, generous portions, and vibrant atmosphere, particularly during sporting events. While numerous visitors commend the attentive and professional staff, others report inconsistent service, long wait times, and issues with reservation management. Culinary feedback is similarly mixed, with many enjoying the creative menu and flavorful meat, though some point to disappointing side dishes like soggy fries or frozen fish and chips. Overall, the restaurant is frequently described as a great spot for casual gatherings and sports fans, despite occasional concerns regarding pricing, noise levels, and product consistency.

Nothing went right from the get go. We ordered 2 French onion soups & got 1. The cheese looked like it was melted with a torch instead of being baked in an oven. The half of it looked like it was melted & thrown into the bowl. The soup was barely lukewarm. I ordered a steak wrap with fries my wife a club sandwich with the tater tots. When we got the orders they messed it up. I got her tatter tots she got my fries. The steak wrap literally looked like chopped minute steak doused in pepper. It was tolerable until I ate a couple of the tater tots. I don't know what the hell they put oon them to season them but it tasted like half the bottle of pepper was poured on it. My wife couldn't eat the fries. They were weird almost purple colored & the chicken on her club was horrible. We returned the soup then what seemed like half hour they finally brought out the food. Now we each ate half our sandwiches before eating the tater tots. As soon as we ate the tots it was all downhill from there. Immediately felt uncomfortable stomach pain. Instead of the owner coming to apologize he came to the table in a huff.'What wrong with your food? No one else complains they like it' & so on & so on. We refused to pay for the food for obvious reasons but offered to pay for our drinks. After sitting at the table & causing a seen i got pissed & said fine I'll pay half. When he came back he only lowered to bill by like 15 bucks. In the end we refused that & told him we were only paying 20 bucks. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you're looking for an ulcer or a trip to the local pharmacy for a bottle of tums. Save yourself the trip.
On our 4th day of our F1 trip, we decided to catch the Canadians vs. Carolina game in the NHL playoffs. We stumbled upon this sports bar that was seriously the best sports bar near the Spa.
We had an absolute blast with the locals & cheering for the underdogs. It was an amazing experience!
As for the food, we had wings, clam chowder, & a double smash burger. The wings were totally different from your typical US wings at places like Buffalo Wild Wings. They were lightly battered with a cool mix of flour & baking soda - yep, baking soda to give them that grandma-approved crunch. The burger was insane! The juices were dripping everywhere, & the meat was absolutely perfect.
We also had their local New England IPA. The beer was surprisingly good & could rival Stone, Ballast Point, or Three Taverns.
We tried to go back on Saturday for game 2 of the Canadians & Hurricanes, but it was packed. The online waitlist showed availability, but when we arrived for dinner, it was overrun by the local crowd. The service was non-existent, even on the patio, & Notre-Boeuf-de-Grâce seemed overwhelmed. We left with other F1 visitors.
That said, if you're looking for a cool sports bar in Longueuil, you should definitely check out NBDG, but arrive early to beat the crowds! It's a must-try.
