Review Summary

Nöam Restaurant garners broad praise for superb food and attentive service, a warm and lively atmosphere, and a staff that many reviewers describe as friendly and accommodating. Diners highlight fast kitchen turns, thoughtful handling of dietary needs, and a diverse menu with strong kosher options and ample gluten free choices. The vibe is energetic and festive, making it a popular spot for birthdays and group meals, though the space can feel crowded and loud, which can limit conversation. A few dishes have drawn critique, such as an oily panini and a pizza with burnt crust, and some guests mention prices being on the higher side. Nevertheless, the consensus is that the restaurant offers one of the top kosher dining experiences in Montreal, with many saying they would return and gladly recommend it to others.

32 bucks for fish & chips……..it's worth every penny.

We had a reservation Thursday evening, for 10+ for my husband's Birthday.
Staff welcomed us at the door & escorted us to our table. We started with delicious appetizers ,which we shared.
Staff were hands on, replacing napkins, cutlery & water without asking.
Pizza, pasta , were delicious & as well as the fish & chips.
Birthday celebration continued with staff suprising my husband with bday music & a variety of desserts. Delicious crème Brûlée, my favorite.
Nice & friendly atmosphere, will certainly return.

Very nice place to go out in Montreal. Warm & cozy vibe & friendly waiters. The food was tasty & flavorful. They had good pizza & fish, but the hummus was a bit bland, though...
I was mistakenly charged for a different table...
Overall, it was a good experience, I would come again.

Small restaurant where you sit very close to guests.. It is more of a vegetarian restaurant. I wish chicken or beef would have been available on the pizza or pasta dishes. They did have fish tacos on the menup

Stepping into Noam, Montreal's latest kosher dining spot, you're immediately struck by its elevated diner vibe. Nestled right on Decarie, it's got this mix of casual meets sophisticated-a welcoming, bustling energy that draws you in. On our first visit, we decided to go all in with the Noam Specials. We started with the Fried Zucchini Tower, & let me tell you, it's exactly what you want in a starter: crispy, light, & bursting with flavor. Next up were the fish tacos, & they didn't disappoint. Fresh, perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of crunch-it's clear they've nailed the art of the taco here. But the real star for me was the Basil Pistachio Pasta. It was a surprising & delightful twist, creamy yet light, with the pistachio adding an unexpected depth of flavor. To round off the meal, we couldn't resist trying the homemade tiramisu. It was a perfect ending-rich, creamy, & not overly sweet, just the way tiramisu should be. Now, service is a big deal for me, & Noam absolutely nailed it. Despite the place being packed, the staff was on top of everything. They were constantly refilling our water glasses (a small but essential detail in my book) & clearing dishes quickly. It's these little things that make you feel taken care of. Plus, the food arrived promptly, which isn't always the case in a busy restaurant. Overall, Noam brings a fresh, exciting option to the Montreal kosher scene. It's not just about the food-it's the whole experience. Looking forward to seeing how they continue to evolve & impress!

This new restaurant was how do you say in French, extraordinaire. Walking in was an experience on its own with all of its music & intense, exciting atmosphere that just increased throughout the night & didn't stop there when I left Nöam I left with no regret knowing that Montreal's dire for a new restaurant had been met & than some. Starting with the service, there were about 7 different people who were prepared to help with our every need. A couple people pouring water, a couple bringing us our food, & of course the manger who was so nice coming over to our table multiple times to make sure our Noam experience was perfect. Last but certainly not least the food. I've been to many restaurants in New Jersey New York City but I have never been to a restaurant like this. I would say that I had the best fettuccine Alfredo that I've ever put in my mouth. They do it the European style with just butter, Parmesan, salt & pepper & on top of that they make their own homemade noodles. It was perfect. I also ordered the fish tacos & the French onion soup which blew my mind. I've had fish tacos & onion soup, but not quite like this. None with such effort & flavor as these dishes had. I would strongly suggest Nöam if you are visiting in from out of town or if you are a Montreal resident. It will blow your mind just like it did to me.
