Monkland has always had plenty of great food options, but this particular place is truly outstanding. Finding a genuinely great sandwich isn't easy, but Nid has mastered it. Their soft, fresh bread combined with high-quality meats & fresh vegetables makes every sandwich delicious. They also offer a selection of sweets, which is a nice bonus. I always come here to treat myself to one of their sandwiches. I highly recommend their hot sandwiches, but everything on the menu is just as good.

Nid Café exceeded my expectations! The sandwiches were absolutely elite-fresh, flavorful, & easily some of the best I've had. Every bite was packed with quality ingredients & made with care.

The service was just as impressive. The chef/owner was welcoming, friendly, & made the whole experience even better. If you're looking for incredible food & outstanding service, Nid Café is definitely worth a visit. I'll definitely be coming back!

The sandwiches are delicious & very generously sized, definitely worth it. I tried the capiccolo with pesto, & it was amazing!! super flavourful, well-balanced, & packed with fresh ingredients. We were two people, so I also got to try the prosciutto with ricotta, & it was just as good, fresh, creamy, & really satisfying.

The sauces (especially the pesto) really elevate the sandwiches & make a big difference in flavor.

As for pricing, it's pretty similar to other cafés of this kind, which feels fair considering the quality & portion size.

The service was great & really friendly. & the coffee was also really good-we ordered two, & both were well made.

Definitely I'll come back to.

Came here for the first time after looking to support local coffee shops in the neighbourhood. Immediately greeted with a kind smile when i came in. Small & cozy atmosphere. I ordered the an iced latté & a chicken sandwich with the total coming up to 27$ before tip. A tad pricey but both items were delicious & you could taste the quality of their products. Will be back again :)

Probably the best customer service I ever had!!! The owner was so nice & welcoming! Amazing & High quality coffee. The sandwich & fries were absolutely delicious. Cozy atmosphere with great music. 100% recommend & I will definitely be back.

☕ Smooth, rich coffee in the coziest spot in NDG… perfectly balanced, never bitter, with that velvety crema that makes every sip comforting. You can really taste the quality beans & the care in how it's made. Happiness can be found at Café Nid on a Friday evening. 🌿
