Awesome food & service. I want to commend Isabel, she was very accomodating to my dietary request, & she was warm & friendly even when I didn't speak French (I spoke English) ☺?

UPDATE: I also had the hot chicken & it tastes like the hot chicken of old, exactly what I want.
I had the hamburger steak delivered, with vegetables & baked potato. It was delicious. It is the only place that I know of that offers baked potato (all-dressed with sour cream on the side) & their vegetables were ok (better than some).
The next time I order hamburger steak, it will probably be from here.

We had a very pleasing & relaxed time during the visit. The dining options were genuinely tasty, & the local crowd was exceedingly polite. The crew was remarkably welcoming throughout. On the whole, it was a delightful venture that combined fine quality with wonderfully modest expenses.

I LOVE THE FOOD!! The portions are huge so you're definitely getting your moneys worth! It always comes out HOT & quite quick! The vibe of the place is so heartwarming & homey! The waiters are so kind & welcoming. During breakfast, even with the rush, the service is awesome! I tend to go for dinners & it's less crowded so the service is much quicker.

Worst experience I ever had …
bad bad bad a big zero, I wouldn't even give it one star. The problem with this restaurant, I placed a specific order. I did not get what I wanted. My dish was full of oil very oily & salty. That is not even the biggest problem., after I spoke to the server & the manager, they never apologize for their mistake & to add insult to injury, they told me never to come back again at this restaurant. I couldn't believe the way I was treated as a customer. Never experienced this in my whole life usually restaurants have hospitality, manners, & good customer service qualities but this place I rate zero a complete failure. I also complain to the head corporation of the restaurant with an email & phone call, & no further actions have been taken regarding this matter. So I am banning myself from going to this restaurant or any other Nichels Restaurant locations. They do not deserve my money. The food was terrible & oily dripping off the plate & when you ask the server for specific quest, they completely ignore you & even look at you like it's your fault. Never never never never ever again going to this place.
