Review Summary

NHASANG is described across reviews as a warm family run spot that feels like home, with a cozy clean space and exceptionally kind staff. Pho with rare beef is consistently praised for a rich aromatic broth, generous portions, and comforting flavors. Egg coffee and coconut coffee stand out for their creaminess and balance, and drinks are sometimes served in cans as a novel touch. Menu highlights include banh mi croissant and udon, along with other Vietnamese inspired drinks and desserts, all receiving high praise. Generosity shines through with notes of free snacks, candies, chips, mangos, and even toys for kids, and staff who go the extra mile. Prices are described as very good value for the portions and quality, making return visits easy. The atmosphere is repeatedly described as welcoming and homely, with a family feel, attentive service, and food that tastes like home cooked meals. Occasional comments about wait times or desire for more menu variety exist, but the overall sentiment is strong and many reviewers say they will return.

I was greeted by Get San the owner. Extremely lovely lady, the tea was amazing, the service was amazing, the place was meticulous clean & beautiful & above all, this is probably the best Pho I've ever tasted. All the ingredients were fresh & flavorful. I also tried their seafood udon soup & it was delightful. I will definitely be coming back & bringing back all my friends!

Everything was so delicious. We had pho & iced coffee. Very authentic soup, flavourful, generous portion (lots of meat!) & fresh.
The interior is so cute & service is amazing. The owner is extremely kind, she kept giving us extra goodies to take home. I HIGHLY recommend!

In a very simple environment & neighborhood. But the food was great. The noodle soup was diffenert than the usual Vietnamese onion beef broth. They made it with an enhanced anise taste. Very nice with fresh beef slices & good portion. Gotta have their canned coffee. They made it in-store & well chilled. The matcha coffee is excellent!

Charming mother & daughter owned restaurant. Very sweet & kind mother. Didn't meet the daughter as she was cooking. We tried their banh mi croissant, the meats were delicious. It's a little on the small side compared to your ordinary banh mi sandwich. We also tried their spring roll. It was good. They had cakes made in a bottle. Thought that was a genius idea. & they ended up being delicious. Can't wait to try their pho & very original different variety drinks. I'm definitely going back. Hope the chef (the daughter) creates even more interesting dishes. Good job on your creativity. Let's support local small businesses! Update: tried their pho, absolutely delicious broth, good quality, you can tell they took time to make the broth, its not watered down. Definitely great place for pho soups.

Nhasang is really the place to go if you love Vietnamese food. The restaurant is clean & tidy. The boss is a nice lady who is very generous & thoughtful. We ordered Pho with rare beef, beef balls & need flank, & Udon soup noodle. They taste really good! & the shrimp tempura is crispy & delicious. They have a good variety of on-spot made drinks. We tried the egg coffee & it is truly good! I highly recommend Nhasang to anyone who loves Asian food. I'll definitely eat there again.

Meilleur Pho & service.

Nice experience. You are living the experience of home made dishes rather than a resto. Food was freshly made. Soup was tasty. Will back there definitely.

It is a small family run shop by mother & daughter. You can feel all food is homemade without a lot of msg, & made by the lady. The menu is very simple, they focus only on Pho & a cambodian soup noodle. We tried the pho, it is very good, & portion is HUGE. the lime is the best lime I've ever had in a resto, so juicy. I wonder if they grow it in their backyard & freshly pick from the tree, lol. Service is good, the only thing is the durian smell a bit strong when we enter the store. It's ok if u don't mind or like the smell. The egg coffee is good, should try as it is rare to find in Montreal. Cake in a can is cute concept, taste ok. All in all, strongly recommend & will come back.

The egg coffee is a must try! Their "Pho" was good, lots of ingredients with soup that made fresh daily. A gem in the neighborhood.

First off, we did not try their coffee maybe their coffee is super good but the food was really just OK. To sum it up, this place is "Jack of 3 dishes & master of none". We tried their pho, Cambodian curry noodle & Japanese udon. The pho here is average, they don't have the Bun Bo Hue, they give you more than average noodles sure... but the noodles were a bit overcooked, a bit soggy. Cambodian curry noodles, it tastes OK, but my God the presentation is godawful! & after you mix the noodles up with the curry, it looks like a pile of vomit! In addition, I think they did not strain the vermicelli enough, so there was a lot of water left in the bowl, which ended up diluting the curry. The curry was mild, too, not spicy & the restaurant didn't have any chilly oil. The Japanese udon, if my taste bud is not mistaken, you can actually buy your own soup base (I am pretty sure is Marutomo Agodashi Soup Base) & just make your own... The rest of it is just fish & beef balls. I can literally make my own at home for probably around $5. Lastly, the spring rolls were good, they were fresh, but they needed to roll it tighter, it was loose & eating it was a bit of a mess. We did not try any of their coffee & dessert, maybe those are the highlights of this place... But I'm sorry, food wise, I cannot give it a 5 stars & I wouldn't come back for the food.
