There was a small queue before we sat down, that already gave a good omen. & we were not wrong. Excellent seafood dish in a nest with crispy noodles like I had rarely tried before. Once the noodles were well soaked with the sauce that covered everything, the taste buds felt the mixture of flavours covering the squid, scallops, the shrimps & the thin layer of imitation crab, making a delicious whole. Mixing the already moist noodle with the one that was still crispy. The shrimp spring rolls were big, fresh & well garnished. The only drawback was the accompanying sauce, which they did not put the nuts on. Otherwise, excellent. Next time it will be the Pho.

La pho est vraiment à essayer, on m'a dit que c'était la meilleure à Montréal alors je me devais d'essayer. Un bouillon clair & léger mais savoureux, viande tendre & un prix vraiment raisonnable.
The best pho in Montreal. & the most affordable. Absolutely delicious. The broth is piping hot & perfectly rich & the noodles are cooked to just the right amount of firm vs. soft. Lovely staff too. I'll be coming here as long as it stays open.
Pho was good at this place ! 4 ⭐️ because I'm an expert in Pho. Price was reasonable. The only thing cons was: the restaurant is located on the 2nd floor, you have to take the stairs to get into it. So, not for people with wheelchair.

Best Pho we've ever had, super tasty herbs in the broth, spring rolls with peanut sauce were amazing. Kids agree. Great service, warm staff, highly recommend!
I've been a loyal customer of Nguyen Phi for over a decade, frequenting this establishment due to my work in the area. Initially, it was my go-to place for delicious Pho, with a rich & flavorful broth that kept me coming back. Unfortunately, over the years, the quality has significantly declined.The once delightful broth has now become watery & lacks the robust flavor it used to have. This decline in taste is quite disappointing for someone who has cherished this place for so long. Additionally, the ambiance leaves much to be desired. The owner often sits in the middle of the restaurant, playing on his phone at high volume, which, combined with the background music, creates an annoying & distracting atmosphere.I would strongly suggest the owner take a visit to Restaurant Phnom Penh to remind himself of how the broth at Nguyen Phi used to taste. Unfortunately, my preferred alternative is currently closed for a week, which makes this situation even more disheartening.Overall, Nguyen Phi has lost its charm & quality, & it saddens me to see such a decline in a place I once loved.
I love the pho here, it is very delicious. It is my favorite pho restaurant. The service is very quick & the staff are very friendly, especially the gentleman who usually serves me when I pay at the end of my meal.

Quelle surprise d'avoir découvert ce resto vietnamien ! J'ai commandé une soupe tonkinoise large ! Le bouillon clair, salé sucré à souhait. Des coupes de viandes tranchées minces. La portion de nouilles de riz larges, pas trop. Des fèves de soja minces & frais à souhait avec le basilic thaï. Toute est parfaitement proportionnée, pas trop de l'un ou de l'autre. Sur la table, présence de baguettes & cuillères de plastique chinoises, des fourchettes pour ceux celles moins à l'aise & des napkins !(Aujourd'hui, dans la majorité des restos de pho, c'est rendu qu'on te refile des baguettes de bois jetables & une fine feuille de napkins). Je n'ai pas essayé le reste de la carte, mais j'ai bien l'intention de tester plusieurs autres plats. Le service est 100% en français!!! Bravo !! & le service de la soupe est super express, c'est à peine qu'on a commandé que 60 secondes plus tard, la soupe arrive sur un chariot avec les garnitures, pas le temps de niaiser ! Une belle surprise dans Côte-des-Neiges, qui bats les autres adresses classiques dans le Chinatown qui servent des soupes tonkinoises avec trop de nouilles, du bouillon qui manquent de saveurs, des fèves germées brûlées par le froid & des tranches de boeuf tellement épaisses qu'il faut un couteau pour manger sa tonkinoise... Bien hâte d'y retourner ! Avec le même standard en terme de fraîcheur, de goût & de service !
Call me biased but we've been coming to this establishment for well over a decade. My husband, then bf, introduced me to pho & it's been love at first taste ever since. The food is delicious. Always fresh. Flavour is consistent. It's like coming home 😂. Here's to another decade 🍜
