Being from Alberta [definitely not an Alberta separatist--I love a country with Quebec in it where I visit often], we come from beef country. If you're not into medium rare or rare beef, read no further. At Mucca, the dry-aged beef is the highlight & the antipasti & pasta offering were also special. But here goes--this Albertan has to say I have never had better-tasting beef! The Florentine approach to beef is quite magical, in part because the contributing cows are 'hand-picked' from a single Quebec farm that is committed to the task of raising exceptional beef. Partner that with the dedication of the family [chef Pasquale Martone, wife Karine Massicotte & son] who operate Mucca, & you have a must-go restaurant. I'll be taking my advice again soon! The wine list is not large, but special with an emphasis on natural/biodynamic wines. Finally, our server, Valerie, was very attentive, enthusiastic & helpful in making perfect wine suggestions.

I've been back to Mucca 6 times now, & every time is always a delightful experience. Karine & staff ALWAYS take amazing care of you from beginning to end. Appetizers are the perfect portion; for two, as it should be. The pasta is perfectly balanced, cooked just slightly past al dente, & not over powered by the protein (whether it's clam or beef). If you like your pasta al dente make sure to request that! The T-bone is incredible; a must try especially with a finger licking, pick up the bone biting, experience.

Always a pleasure to be dining here.

To be more than full & have an exceptional food experience, with two drinks per person, expect to spend just under $100 a person (including tax & tip). 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking to have an authentic Italian dinner.

The whole experience was absolutely lovely.
We got there a bit later than our reservation but the owner accomodated us very kindly. The restaurant was already empty by the time we got there which made the experience even more intimate & just lovelier.
The food (as always) was exquisite. The pasta was refreshing, the meat was juicy. All of it was just perfect.
Would definitely recommend!
