Mucca offers an authentic Italian dining experience in a cozy, local atmosphere where the focus remains on high quality, farm-to-table ingredients. The dry-aged beef is frequently highlighted as a standout, often cited by patrons as some of the best in the city, while the house-made pasta and creative desserts like citrus tiramisu further contribute to a memorable meal. Guests consistently praise the attentive and knowledgeable service provided by the dedicated team, who are noted for making diners feel welcome and well-cared for from start to finish. Although the intimate setting can become quite lively, the overall commitment to simple, honest cooking and a curated selection of biodynamic wines makes this a favored destination for those seeking a genuine culinary experience.
This was a recommendation by a family member & honestly did not disappoint! Service was great, Karine was super helpful with our choices, super friendly staff as well! The food did not disappoint. Great local joint using great quality & local products. Did not disappoint & will be back for sure!
This restaurant is overhyped. Not sure why so many people speak so highly about it, I really felt like the experience was nothing out of the ordinary. My friends wanted to come here for steak & I turned them around after trying this place. I definitely do not think this is one of the top places for steak. The service is decent, but the food is really not the best in Montreal. Portions are small, & it is expensive, not the greatest. Took a very very long time to get the bill(45mins after asking 3 times)
What a great experience! This food took me back to my Italian roots, real authentic. I highly recommend this restaurant, they also have a great variety of grappa's that you don't usually find in restaurants in Montreal.
Morgane our waitress was fabulous, we also got to chat with the owner Karine, also lovely! Thank you for the wonderful experience !
Brought a friend from NYC here who loved italian & wow did it not disappoint!
She spent a week in Montreal & she said this place was the highlight & the only authentic & high quality italian restaurant she had that was anything close to what she had back home.
I myself love Mucca because of it's artisanal dishes & high quality food. The atmosphere is cozy & welcoming & the staff are exceptional
• Food was deceiving. I ordered pasta, & even though the menu changes every so often, I don't think it would matter much. The pasta itself was cold, albeit homemade. The whole plate in itself was lacking in flavours. My date ordered the same & she did not finish her plate. I've ordered a citrus tiramisu, & at least we finished on a good note. The white wine we ordered was mid, for ±$75, I expected better. [⭐⭐]
• The service had nice attention. Our wine cups & water glasses were never empty. I just wished the server would be more into wine recommendation based on what we ordered. [⭐⭐⭐⭐]
• Atmosphere is great, not spectacular. Tables can be close to each other, so for a private time it ain't the best (can be quite loud, need a few sips of alcohol to help you focus better). [⭐⭐⭐]
