Les bonnes saveurs de la Jamaïque s'y trouvent ! S/o au jus d'hibiscus ! 🙌🏾
Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas assez de place pour accueillir plus de monde pour manger sur place
I had such a great experience the food was so good & so authentic. It's definitely my new go to spot.
Food is fabulous. I haven't tried a single thing that wasn't packed with flavour & cooked to perfection. I've visited a few times & the jerk chicken roti (jerk chicken, period) & the lobster soup were my favourites so far. I would also like to say that the friendly & caring service makes the experience that much better. I will be a repeat customer for life!
The food was good, the hibiscus juice is a must try, tastes natural & without a lot of sugar which makes it amazing because you can taste properly the plant. The only reason why im not giving them a 5 stars it's because i find it a bit pricey for the portion compared to other places(couple of $ difference & more). I will comeback to try their other plates, they look good as well. Cheers
Amazing place. Amazing staff. Always a place I bring friends. For great West Indian food. My parents love this place too.
Our visit was delightful, & we quickly discovered some standout dishes. The macaroni pie was a comforting, cheesy delight, while the jerked chicken was perfectly seasoned & grilled to perfection. The jerked salmon was equally impressive, offering a succulent bite infused with that signature flavor. The great sauces served alongside the dishes added depth & a delightful mix of flavors that truly showcased the essence of Jamaican cuisine. & we can't forget the black cake, a rich, moist, & very dense dessert that was the perfect ending to our meal. One of the highlights of our dining experience was the hibiscus drink. Without a doubt, it was the best hibiscus drink I've ever had-refreshing & vibrant.
So I'm fairly new to Montreal & having lived in Toronto, it's very easy to find an authentic Jamaican spot. I had a friend mention that he knew a really good Jamaican spot & I didn't believe him until he forced me here. I've been here twice in the span of a week. Their food tastes authentic & you get so much food for the price. The first time I was there I go their Jerk Chicken meal, with Ackee & Saltfish Egg Rolls & a cup of Sorrel. Second time got the Fried Chicken Meal, with Ackee & Saltfish Egg Rolls & a Ting. While we waited the second time, they offered us a sample of their soup. It tasted like my mom's soup, I was so happy. Next time I go, I'll probably order that. All in all, it's far from where I live but don't mind making the trek & the people inside are very nice. You won't regret it. One more thing to add - Give me a bigger slice of that Mac & Cheese next time, please lol
I was happy with the size of my breakfast. For the $18.15 I don't felt it was worth it.
