What a breath of fresh air. I got to this coffee shop about 15 minutes before close (my fault for not checking the hours ahead of time), & Jess & Matt - the owners - were so chill, kind, & hospitable despite the timing. As someone who's worked in the service industry, I would've completely understood if they hadn't been as welcoming, but the vibes here were amazing. You can tell they're not just passionate about coffee, but about creating a space people genuinely want to relax in.
Even though I only had about 10 minutes to stay, they insisted I take both my coffee & pastry'for here,' encouraged me to take my time, & made me feel so welcome. Jess even carefully chose a pastry for me, asked what cup I preferred, & somehow turned what could've been a rushed visit into the opposite. Saying' she hoped the coffee brings you joy today' 🥹
The decor is beautiful & unique, the service is A+, & Jess & Matt are just cool people. I'll absolutely be back, & next time I'm staying longer to chat!

Such a lovely place full of intricate details. I loved the handmade ceramic cups they use! Such a nice touch!
Owners are super friendly & they take the time to chat with you & explain everything, which is really appreciated!
We had coffee which was great, but next time I'm going to try the teas. They have a curated selection.
I will be going there often for sure!
Update: I went & tried the tea! It was so good! Highly recommended!
Found this lovely coffee shop while visiting family - the kind of place I'd want to be a regular at if I lived in the city! The owners are so very sweet, funny & knowledgeable. The floats hit the spot (we each got two! 😂) & the cardamom knot was excellent. Cheers from Michigan, y'all! We'll be back!
Awesome new cafe in the area! They have very different & interesting things to buy from all over the world. The plates/tray they serve the coffee on is so nice! The owners are very cool also!
This is one of my favorite cafes I've been to in Montreal. Amazing coffee, tasty pastries, & the owners are equally as enjoyable. I will definitely be back!
We moved to the neighborhood a couple days back & we were looking to find a coffee spot. We saw the reviews from mr + mrs m magasin & we decided to give it a try. The place definitely lives up to its reviews. The owner was super kind & he gave us the best attention. The decoration is very creative & the coffee tastes good! We did not try the pastry this time but everything looked super appealing!
The owners are so sweet & every detail inside of the coffee shop is amazing, real pleasure for the eyes, the taste & the soul! Definitively a feel good spot!

Just visited this adorable new coffee shop & absolutely loved it! The Mexican pastry was delicious & my cappuccino was perfectly tasty. What really made the experience though were the owners - they are so nice & welcoming! So happy to have this wonderful addition to the neighborhood. We'll definitely be back soon!
This place offers an exceptional experience. The atmosphere is warm & inviting, the owners are genuinely welcoming, & both the food & coffee are outstanding in quality & presentation. Highly recommended.
MR + MRS M magasin est une véritable pépite à Montréal ! L'endroit est chaleureux, au design soigné, & l'accueil est tout simplement parfait. Les gérants sont incroyablement sympathiques & toujours souriants, ce qui rend l'expérience encore plus agréable.
Les cafés sont excellents, préparés avec soin, & l'espace boutique propose des articles colorés & sympa, parfaits pour se faire plaisir ou offrir un cadeau unique. C'est un lieu où l'on se sent bien & où chaque détail est pensé avec goût. Une adresse que je recommande sans hésiter !
