Came here tempted by the cajun reels seen online, & this place served! Amazing sauce, very nice server, fast serving time, very but very fresh sea food: the crab legs are actually so easy to peel - u just break it in half & enjoy!
Went in during valentine. Had a special deal bucket of ocean with 2 drinks for 90$. I suggest the spicy sauce but watch out : tummy can be boo boo. Server was very kind & had good suggestion. I ate with the plastic glove. My girlfriend did it with bare naked fingers. We loved it.
Tres bon! Une expérience à vivre, assurément. J'y retournerais, le concept est très sympas. Ambiance unpeu cantine avec lumière neon très vive, aucun alcool, mais ça permet de voir clairement ce que tu manges & de garder les idées claires lol. J'enlève 1 étoile pour le service car j'ai eu soif & jamais le serveur n'est venue proposer d'eau alors que nous étions seulement 2 tables dans le restaurant. Aucun essuie tout, ou serviette de nettoyantes pour se laver les mains à aucun moment du repas. Ça manquait avec ce type de repas salissant. Bref, ce n'était pas parfait, mais le personnel était gentil. Un endroit sympas & la nourriture est bonne.
Merci beaucoup pour cette magnifique expérience, le serveur/gérant était super gentil. Le petit océan très bien garnie & servi avec soin, délicieuses épices , ambiance très chaleureuse & décor bien sympathique

Food was seasoned super well. So much food. We did the Big Ocean between 3 people. It's not meant for 3 ppl, but mama didn't raise no quitters. We all left stuffed & happy
can honestly say I'm one of the biggest seafood boil fans, & this place was very good! The seafood was delicious, & everything was cooked really well. The mussels were absolute perfection. The crab was a little skinny-I wish it had more meat-but overall, the food was amazing. The medium spice sauce was very spicy. I don't have the best spice tolerance, but you wouldn't expect medium to be that intense. I'd be scared to try the extra spicy! The sauce itself was really flavorful, though. One thing I would change is the tables-they're designed in the dumbest way, basically leaning so that one person always ends up getting splashed. I was the victim of the sauce splash this time. Besides that, the seating in general felt a little uncomfortable. I wish they had bigger tables to make it easier to enjoy such a messy meal. The vibes of the place are cute, very nautical, which makes sense for a seafood spot. But I feel like the staff could be warmer-it made thr atmosphere feel a little bit cold & not super inviting. Not that anyone was rude, but it just had a kind of detached feeling. Maybe because it's mostly teenagers working there, even in the kitchen? Also, they should have pitchers of water on the table because seafood makes you really thirsty. Overall, it was a great place, & I enjoyed my time there! Just think it could be even better with a few small changes. Super cute spot-hope it lasts, because places on Monkland don't always stick around.
