I have been on the hunt for the best tacos in Montreal & this has to be it. There pastor is the best & most consistent. It always has pineapple which is the sign of a good taco spot. The chiccacoron & carnitas are also incredible. If you're craving Mexican food you can't go wrong here.

Soy chilango y de todos los restaurantes de comida "mexicana" a los que he ido aquí en Montreal este es el mejor de todos, es el que más para mi gusto se acerca más a la VERDADERA VERDADERA comida Mexicana!!!! Hasta me siento como en mi hermoso México cuando siento ese sabor de la comida en mi boca!!!!! 1000000% recomiendo este restaurant es el mejor!!!!!!!!

The restaurant is excellent, & it's no surprise it's been open for more than 10 years. The service from the waiters is great, & the food is the best in Montreal. Though tipping might bother some people, while not mandatory, it's part of what you pay for the service you receive. I'd like to see the same at other Quebecois restaurants, but unfortunately, since it's a Mexican restaurant, people feel they have the right to criticize it. Personally, I've always had great experiences, & despite all the competition today, I'll never stop going to Mr. Azteca. Congratulations to the entire staff!

La verdad está deliciosa la comida, no puedo creer que de todos los restaurantes mexicanos que eh ido no haya probado un chicharrón del rojo como el de ahí, me eh enamorado de su sazón, la verdad recomiendo abierta mente todo su menú.😋

La comida es deliciosa y los precios son muy buenos, el personal es muy amable. Definitivamente es uno de mis restaurantes mexicanos favoritos!

I was born & raised in Mexico & I always try to find Mexican food that is actually good in this city, the first couple of times that I came to this restaurant I left quite satisfied, then I went back to exploring other cuisines that Montreal is famous for, I went back to Mr. Azteca after two years & I gotta say that I am pretty disappointed, came to find that they gave in & now they use the horrible tortillas that you can get here, they leave a strange sour taste in every plate, beer is $7 CAD, the barbacoa has become a ridiculous portion for over 20 dollars, I'm not kidding l.& they don't even have the authentic Mexican rice recipe anymore.
