Overall, Moul Chouaya is described as delivering authentic Moroccan flavors with succulent meats cooked over charcoal, including mechoui and kebabs, flavorful merguez sandwiches, and generous salads and sides, with mint tea as a staple, while the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and reminiscent of Morocco, and portions are generous with good value for the price; the service is frequently praised as friendly and attentive, contributing to a homey vibe, though some reviews mention occasional delays or busier times and that prices can be higher; despite these points, the consensus is that the place offers a standout Moroccan dining experience in Montreal and many patrons say they would return.
Very bad experience. The food was disappointing, & I was expecting something much better. I ordered a sandwich but was given a platter instead. When I asked for the receipt, the employee said the machine wasn't working.
The employee went to a back room to get the bread, & I was surprised to see that the bread was stored on the floor, very close to harsh cleaning detergents. This was very concerning.
Overall, I would not recommend this place, & would give it a 0 stars if I could.
Excellent restaurant marocain ! Les plats sont délicieux, authentiques & très bien présentés. Le service est chaleureux & l'ambiance rappelle vraiment le Maroc. Je recommande sans hésiter.
