J'ai adoré ma soirée au Moqueur ! Louis nous a offert un excellent service. Il transmet bien sa passion & nous a bien conseillé. Tous les plats & cocktails que nous avons prit étaient délicieux ! Coup de coeur pour le poulet frit, le Mahi mahi & le pain au maïs! Très belle ambiance. J'y retourne assurément ! : )

It's been a while since I went to such a good place. The food is amazing, the cocktails are amazing, the atmosphere/decor is amazing & the service is just perfect. The people working here are so nice!
Superbe expérience au moqueur. D'abord pour la terrasse au charme exceptionnel. Mais aussi pour la belle décoration intérieure. Ensuite pour la carte aux cocktails diversifié. Également pour le service de qualité. Sans oublier la nourriture très bonne (notamment les frites cuites dans le gras de canard). Enfin pour leur choix de sauce piquante, certaines maisons délicieuses, & d'autres à plus de 2 millions de Scoville. En bref une excellente expérience qui en fait un de mes bars préférés à Montréal.
What a fun place! & with a nice cocktail selection & good food to boot! Split onto two levels (plus an outdoor terrace at the back in the summer time), Moqueur (meaning something along the lines of Mocker or Jeerer) has a New Orleans vibe with jade colored metal railings, & metal mesh covered stairwell that give off a warm & welcoming ambiance. The menu is not extensive but is still enough to satisfy, especially if you are with a group willing to share dishes. For our meal we enjoyed the Old Square Salad (very tasty, light & enjoyable...a good way to start before getting into the heavier foods), Clams Po-Boy (very good, tasty bread & nice fried clam flavoring0), & "Crispy Fried Chicken bites (also very good with a nice Creole sauce). For dessert we sampled the Nola Donuts (nice but heavy fried dough morsels) & the Red Fruit Puree (more like a chocolate cake but also very good). They also have a large selection of cocktails to imbibe yourself. Definitely a place to go with friends after work or for a night on the town. You'll have a blast. Enjoy!
Un bar à cocktail & restaurant moderne & délicieux. Les plats sont savoureux. Les cocktails parfaitement équilibrés, mention à l'ultra-violette très parfumée. Petits bémols : musique très forte & prix un peu chers.
5 étoiles +++++ Nous avions réservé pour notre party de bureau de Noël tout le monde a été ravi. Tout d'abord, le lieu est magnifique. Le plafond cathédrale, les magnifiques luminaires suspendus, les somptueuses banquettes, tout est mis en place pour une ambiance chaleureuse & feutrée. Nous avons eu droit à un menu dégustation de leurs spécialités. Il y avait de tout pour tous les goûts & c'était divinement bon. Les cocktails étaient raffinés & savoureux. & que dire du service!!! Efficace, amical, tellement professionnel! Mes collègues ont tous été enchantés par l'endroit & veulent tous y retourner. Je vous conseille fortement d'y faire votre tour. J'étais en charge de l'organisation de notre souper & les communications avec l'équipe du Moqueur se sont faites comme un charme. Je salue Cédric, Gabriel & Aurore, vous étiez des hôtes incroyables & je suis impatiente de repasser vous voir!
Quelle belle découverte ! Nourriture d'influence Louisiane, les cocktails & les vins d'importation privée sont vraiment bons. Tony le barman nous a fait vivre une expérience incroyable, un passionné de sa job comme je les aime. Tout le staff est aux petits soins pour te faire vivre un moment tout en douceur mais pimenté 😊. Bravo à vous team de 🔥

La terrasse est tout simplement sublime & le service l'est tout autant! J'ai bien hâte de vivre l'expérience à l'intérieur cet hiver avec un bon cocktails & quelques huîtres!!
J'ai adoré le service de la part de Vincent & Aurore, extrêmement chaleureux, Vincent a su nous mettre surper à l'aise, dès que nous sommes arrivés Vincent nous a fait rire & nous a charmé avec son excellent service & sa connaissance accrue des cocktails, nourriture & liqueur, je recommande cette place à 100% à TOUT LE MONDE
This place is dynamite. Tony the bartender is really engaged & passionate. Explore New Orleans through his eyes & you will not be disappointed. Sampled some hot sauces, tasted some world class beers from Le Trou du diable & some of the finest cocktails from Tony's recommendations. Ask for Tony. I will be back

I cannot praise the drinks highly enough, Louis & Tony are masterful bartenders! The drinks are all unique, yet totally approachable, using innovation alongside well established tradition to give you the ultimate in cocktail capabilities. Wines are all available by the glass! The cajun cuisine is a welcome addition to the montreal restaurant scene: all of their offerings are hearty & delicious, you even get to pull your best Bugs Bunny & order some succotash!
When it comes to the decor itself, Moqueur is stunningly beautiful! The ceilings are high, with an impressive mirrored back bar. Soft but by no means underwhelming lighting is provided by candles, an eye-catching plethora of hanging wicker lanterns, & of course distinctive purple neon outside that adds a luxurious glow to the inside. Wooden furniture & copper green metalwork give a really nice, unique colour scheme. No details are to be missed!
Outside is a patio that perfectly intersects a night out in the city with a forested foray into nature. Vines creep & stretch to form a chartreuse canopy, with the other half of the terrace open to the night sky. In the back corner is a massive old tree stretching up above, & quietly hiding behind is the best table out there.
My favourite part of all? I can imagine anybody enjoying themselves there. Seriously. I'm a mid-twenties bartender & I like it. My retired suburban parents would like it. My tiktok-girlies would like it. My beer-&-shot-bros would like it. My friends with actual personalities would LOVE it! I don't know any of them very well but i'm sure 40-something professionals would absolutely swoon for it. Whoever you are, just go already!
Grosse place, gros coquetelles ! A tous ceux qui visiteront le Moqueur, je recommande fortement le clarified corpse reviver 2, le cocktail coco Patron & le cocktail a Anthony le Barry White. La gang du Midway & Marion a su élever l’experience cocktail au niveau supérieur avec des concoctions à la fine pointe de la mixologie. Cuisine impeccable, décor envoûtant, bravo à l’equipe pour cette belle addition au quartier !
