Cutest little spot in one of the busiest area. We ordered some great food, had great service & watched England vs France. A great time! Staff was so friendly & amazing :)
The food was really great, the restaurant is really cute. But the service was not good. After I sat I tried to order food to a waitress, & she said she was not a waitress, she was only serving water. I figured she would tell the waiter that I was ready to order. I waited about 20 minutes before the waiter showed up. After I got my food I didn't see the waiter again until I called him for the check.
We had such a wonderful experience at Mona! From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm & accommodating. We had originally chosen to sit outside, but with thunderstorms approaching, they kindly suggested moving us indoors & made the transition seamless. They even let us choose the indoor table we preferred, which we really appreciated.
The food was absolutely delicious. Our favorites were the falafel with tahini sauce & the zaatar chicken-both were incredibly flavorful & perfectly prepared. The drink menu also looked fantastic, with plenty of tempting options.
The combination of great food, a beautiful ambiance, & genuinely attentive service made this a memorable dining experience. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Montreal, & we highly recommend Mona to anyone looking for an amazing meal!

Just wanted to share a little recap of the incredible meal we had.
We feasted on some absolutely phenomenal falafel - seriously, it was out of this world!
& don't even get me started on the babaganoush; it was so incredibly fresh & flavorful, practically melting in your mouth.
We also enjoyed a wonderfully crisp fatoush salad, & the chicken zafaar was an absolute revelation - truly delicious. It was such a fantastic culinary experience.
Ate here was moderately busy & the service was awful. I ordered the schnitzel & waited a whole hour for it to come. Then they messed up my order & tried to serve me salmon & she heard me as it was repeated back to me. Then another 30 mins later it finally arrived. The food was lovely but definitely not worth an hour & a half wait. There was 2 waiters for the whole restaurant & only one chef. Extremely understaffed. Either the person who owns the place is extremely greedy or people turned in sick.
