Je pensais que la star d'un BBQ coréen, c'était la viande grillée… mais leur poulet frit m'a bluffé ! Croustillant, juteux, super savoureux - j'y retournerai rien que pour ça.

We thoroughly enjoyed BBQing food. All the meats were properly seasoned that we did not use the dipping sauces.

On a fêté l'anniversaire de ma chum au restaurant, Mon Ami BBQ & honnêtement… wow! Je ne m'attendais pas à une expérience comme ça. On adore déjà le thaï & le chinois, mais c'était notre première fois avec la cuisine coréenne & on a été complètement charmés.
🥩 Leur boeuf est littéralement à tomber par terre! Oui, on fait cuire nous-mêmes à la table, mais c'est justement ça qui rend l'expérience unique : ça permet de jaser, rire & profiter du moment ensemble, un peu comme une fondue mais version coréenne.
Tout était super bon, je n'ai rien à redire, j'ai tout aimé. Une ambiance chaleureuse, des saveurs surprenantes & un concept qui change de l'ordinaire.
👉 Je le recommande vraiment à tout le monde!

I used to go to KBBQ all the time when they we're in this location, & I was hoping the new name would have the same great food. Unfortunately the experience was lacking in that the food was not what we were hoping for. Nothing was very spicy, even when it was marked as spicy, & dishes like the chicken were cubed rather than sliced making them more complicated to cook. Not as many accompaniments available. The portion sizes are confusing. We ordered zucchini & got 2 slices. (we we're supposed to order several portions)
Staff was really nice, & service was quick. Just wish the food was more authentically Korean.

Visited on a weekend evening hoping for a great Korean AYCE experience, but left disappointed.
Pros:
- Plenty of parking
- Staff were very polite & tried their best despite being clearly understaffed.
- The grilled meats were tasty & well-seasoned.
Cons:
- Service was extremely slow due to lack of staff. Everyone was kind, but they were clearly overwhelmed. The wait times were frustrating & staff kept forgetting things that we asked for (some food items that we ordered also never made it to our table)
- Most food items other than the meat were precooked & arrived cold & soggy making them feel more like leftovers than fresh from a restaurant.
- Several weekend-exclusive items were already out of stock when we arrived early in the evening (6pm).
- Menu was only available in English, & staff didn't speak French. This wasn't an issue for most of us, but my in-laws aren't bilingual & it affected their experience.
- No air conditioning, & the space was extremely hot - especially with the grills running. It made the whole experience uncomfortable & hard to enjoy.
Overall, the staff were lovely & the meat was good, but the slow service, limited food availability, & sweltering heat made it hard to justify the premium price. Needs improvement before we'd consider returning.

Came here for lunch with the kids & we all had a great time! The staff were super friendly & quick, & the marinated meats were delicious - my kids loved it. Also really liked the fun soju wall by the washroom. Definitely coming back!

This food is so good. I don't get why some of the reviews here complained about the service because the staff were so nice & polite when we were eating there. We were starving by the time we got there so we kind of ordered way too much food lol however, none of them were giving us attitude & food arrived so fast we couldn't even catch up lol. Overall ten out of ten! I will definitely come back again
