If its not the Jewish community complaining its surely the Italian community complaining. Nothing is cheap anymore in 2026, almost every restaurant in Montreal is expensive. Try going on Blvd.St.Laurent, or on Notre-Dame street where prices are extremely expensive. I've been going to this restaurant since the 90's, & always enjoyed my meals there. The lasagna & all-dressed pizza are my go to plates, along with fried calamari. People should stop whining, if you can't afford eating out, stay home you cheapies.

Portions généreuses à souhaits voire surprenantes. Le service à la clientèle est particulièrement à repenser même si rien ne changera. On vous parle comme si vous n'étiez pas un client mais n'importe qui.

Loved La Molisana! The place is warm & inviting, the food is absolutely delicious, & our waiter was wonderfully attentive & kind. A fantastic spot for a genuine, fun evening. Highly recommended

It was our first time at La Molisana & we were there to celebrate our son's first communion. Both my husband & I were left absolutely thrilled. The service was amazing, the food was delicous & the best part, the atmosphere!! The live music is amazing (especially if your italian) we sang & danced & everyone in the resto (two other parties) were very happy & enjoying themselves. Everyone was singing...the owners, the chef, the whole resto!! i kept telling my husband & guests how happy i was with how everything turned out. i will be going back & i highly recommend La Molisana for an authetic italian good time :) Thank you for making our son's communion celebration a memorable one.

Did a take-out because we wanted to eat at home but when entering the place, I can sincerely say that it is very cozy, pristine & intimate, definitely will dine-in next time.

The pizzas are tasty, thin crusts & flavorful (had La Molisana & Speciale), seasoning is spot on. Had also insalata caprese & italiana, the italiana surprised me with some bits of papaya which had never tasted it in this way, worked pretty well with their home dressing, good work 👌

Finally, a cannelloni della nonna, filled with their homemade veal filling which tasted great & light, it does feel homey.

All in all, I recommend trying this place if you're looking for an authentic trattoria, you won't be disappointed. 5/5
