via LibroSoirée parfaite! Je suis de ceux qui ont fréquentés Moishes pendant plusieurs années sur le boul. St-Laurent. Notre famille y allait souvent (pas assez quand-même). Vous avez réussi à mon avis à garder les bons moments d'autrefois tout en bâtissant une expérience de première classe pour le futur. Bravo à toute l'équipe & au plaisir de se revoir lors de notre prochain voyage familial (nous habitons maintenant Vancouver). Henry Blumenthal
via LibroNot a good NY strip steak & the dry aged version not available. The one I got was simply sinewy & tough. Not premium steakhouse quality. Veal chop & sides were excellent as was wedge salad.

Service friendly & courteous but not polished as in other mid-top tier establishments in Montreal. It was good not great. I didn't feel special.
Bread plate had sliced bread from a bag & cold. Cheepens the experience. Steak although good quality meat, wasn't cooked as ordered.
Overall average. Small adjustments will make it great a great Montreal dining experience worth the price.

We were a group of 4 & our bill was over $700 but the service was lacking for that price point. Waiter was nice but seemed to have too many tables. Manager (woman) seemed miserable & we even overheard her swearing to other staff. This should not even be acceptable at Baton Rouge, let alone Moishes. I was looking forward to the revamp, design was great, ambiance/music definitely lacking. Manager & greeting hostess could use some training in upscale service. I've been to my fair share of expensive restaurants, & have no problem spending this money if the service & food come along with it.
Food was amazing, but unfortunately we won't be back.
