Great selections of traditional Chinese tea. They have bings & tongs! Unfortunately they don't serve any tea here so you can't try out any before buying. Their atmosphere is wonderful with plenty of beautiful teaware.

Very nice tea spot. They have a huge selection of teas & tea sets. The owners are also super knowledgeable & friendly. We were only visiting Montreal, but I wish I can go back to buy more tea already!

On my last trip to Montreal, my husband & I stumbled upon a place that truly stayed with me, Ming Tao Xuan.

From the moment we walked in, it felt like stepping into a quiet, magical world. The atmosphere is calm, beautiful, & full of intention, the kind of place that immediately makes you slow down & just be present.

What made the experience unforgettable, though, were the owners. This lovely couple welcomed us with such genuine warmth & kindness that it felt less like visiting a shop & more like being invited into someone's home. You can feel the years they've dedicated to this place, & the passion they carry for what they do. There was something deeply moving about meeting them, I left feeling incredibly grateful for that encounter.

Of course, I couldn't leave without bringing some of their teas home, absolutely delicious & clearly selected with care. It's the kind of quality you don't forget.

Ming Tao Xuan is not just a tea store, it's an experience, a moment of peace, & a reminder of how meaningful human connection can be. I already know I'll be ordering more tea online, just to hold onto a little piece of that magic.

If you're ever in Montreal, this is a place you shouldn't miss.

Good selection of authentic Chinese tea. The porcelain tea set you have to be specific on what they are from, they mix Japanese & Chinese tea sets. Even so, great customer service. Worth visiting again to purchase.

They don't serve tea. There is no place to sit & the staff doesn't appear to know what do to with non-Chinese entering the store. It's a cute 2 minutes wonder but you don't feel like you're wanted there.
