Went there with a friend for our first time, & the waiter was super helpful-he explained everything really well, which made the experience even better. Definitely not disappointed!
It can be a bit pricey depending on your budget (about $20 for 8 pieces of sushi's), but honestly, the quality makes it worth it.
Superb sushi & Asian food, with lots of unique creations. Worth a try. However it will be more pricy than the average sushi place. If you can spend a few bucks more, you won't be disappointed.

Wow… incroyables sushis, les meilleurs que j'ai mangé! L'expérience a été tout simplement parfaite, du début à la fin. La qualité des plats est incroyable, tout est frais, merveilleusement bien présenté & surtout délicieux.
Un immense merci à Maya pour son service exceptionnel. Elle a été attentionnée, souriante & tellement professionnelle. Elle a vraiment fait la différence dans notre expérience, surtout en nous recommandant les perles du menus!
On se sent accueillis & pris en charge comme des invités importants. Je recommande fortement, & j'ai déjà hâte d'y retourner!!
The food is incredible! My husband & I's favorite items are the rockefeller oysters & the saumon fondant. It literally melts in your mouth! Service was impeccable.
The only thing I would say it's to adjust the lightning. I even saw a couple use the flashlight on their cellphone to read the menu. It was so bad & dark that our eyes were hurting. We would've gotten desserts, but we just couldn't stay anymore.
We went to the Yakiniku side 2 times a few weeks ago (downstairs & upstairs) around the same time & the lightning was perfect, maybe do the same on the sushi side too?
Nous avons essayé le menu combiné pour 2 pour le bbq à a la table. C'était excellent & quand même une grosse quantité de nourriture pour 2. 3 coupes différentes de boeuf & du poulet. Des accompagnements de kimchi, de salades de fèves germées & de purée de patates douces. Aussi des légumes à griller & du riz à l'ail.Tout était vraiment frais & goûteux.
Nous avons pris un entrée : un sushi au saumon.
Moi qui mange très souvent des sushis, bien c'était un des meilleurs que j'ai mangé dans ma vie.
Le service par Camille était impeccable.
Je recommande l'expérience de bbq style coréen.
J'ai adoré mon expérience générale chez Mikasa. Nous avons mangé des grillades & nous avons pratiquement tout adoré, les petites entrées, les viandes marinées, le wagyu, etc. Les accompagnements m'ont laissés plutôt indifférentes cependant. Le service était excellent. J'ai trouvé que c'était un peu cher, mais j'ai beaucoup aimé malgré cela puisque tout y était. J'essaierai les sushis la prochaine fois.
I probably had the best sushi I've ever had in my life. I forget how it's called but it's the one in the temporary menu. A very nice waitress suggested it for us, & wow it didnt disappoint. The rest was amazing, but that one sushi made the whole thing for me. It shouldnt be in the temporary menu.

Mikasa Laval: A must try if you're in the area! This restaurant has a beautiful decor with high ceiling & good vibes. Not too noisy also.
The entrée, sushi & main dishes were just delicious & fresh. You have choices for all palettes.

The Staff were amazing too! We had a good service all night for a party of 18 people.
Been here a couple times & the sushi is average but overpriced. For that reason, we hadn't been able for a while but I'm celiac so have appreciated they have a gf menu. However, last time I went I had a reaction as they were not careful about cross-contamination. After I ate the appetizer, which they assured me was clean, I noticed crumbs of tempura flakes on the sides of the plate, & later noticed on a main dish as well. But by then it was too late. The waiter apologized & did his best, but the kitchen was not careful, & the manager did very little to make things right & did not really seem to care.

Nous avons passé une superbe soirée chez Mikasa à Laval. Les sushis étaient délicieux, frais, bien présentés & pleins de saveur - clairement parmi les meilleurs que nous avons goûtés.
Mais le vrai highlight de notre visite, c'est le service exceptionnel de Kévin. Accueillant, attentionné, ultra professionnel… Il a su rendre notre expérience encore plus mémorable. Il prend le temps, conseille avec justesse, & s'assure qu'on ne manque de rien.
Mon mari & moi avons été conquis. Ambiance, qualité, service : tout était au rendez-vous. On recommande sans hésiter, & on reviendra avec grand plaisir !

The portions are on the small side. Order more than what you think.
The service was friendly.
Located right in the middle of Centropolis. The parking availability depends on the night.
I will definitely go back.
