In 1987, Mikado was one of the very first few sushi restaurants that opened on the island of Montreal. It quickly became a successful family business, even ‘the’ sushi establishment where international celebrities, along with growing faithful local clients, came to experience Japanese gourmet sushi and cuisine at their finest. For more than three decades, Mikado has been operating with an unfailing promise: to always serve top quality and fresh food, while seeking to be constantly innovative with its culinary creations.
Earlier this year, 2020, Mikado made a bold business move by closing its flagship establishment on St-Denis street to embrace a more current way of service: pickup or delivery. Hence the new name of Mikado Go came to be. Make no mistake, this is no fast food style in any shape or form! The service may be on the go, but top quality and fresh food remains Mikado’s lifelong promise to keep for its faithful and new clients!

Très bons sushis. J'aime aussi le poké bowl de saumon & la salade d'algues du chef, tous très savoureux & pas trop salés contrairement à d'autres places qui salent leurs repas à outrance.

Très mauvaise expérience. Mon copain & moi avons commandé une variété de sushis &, après 30 minutes d'attente, nous avons reçu des sushis médiocres, avec une amertume étrange. Les produits n'étaient pas frais.
La présentation & l'exécution ne justifiaient absolument pas le prix demandé.
Extrêmement décevant. Nous ne recommandons pas.

While visiting Montreal, I discovered another true hidden gem-Sushi MiyaGo. This takeout only, online ordering spot completely exceeded my expectations. You do not need a dine-in setting to enjoy high end, beautifully crafted sushi, & Sushi MiyaGo proves that from the first bite.
The sashimi was incredibly fresh & top grade, melting in my mouth with each piece. The sushi rolls were just as impressive, with a great variety to choose from. The lobster roll was my personal favorite-rich, flavorful, & perfectly balanced. Whether you enjoy traditional options or more creative rolls, their menu has something for everyone.
What really sets Sushi MiyaGo apart is the care & attention to detail. Even as a takeout experience, everything felt elevated & thoughtfully prepared. It is perfect for a cozy night in, a special occasion, or simply when you are craving premium sushi. If you are in Montreal, this is a must try. I will definitely be back.

I love to support local spots & used to order from here a lot. They are great with allergies & super friendly & efficient. However the amount of fish put in the rolls has become very small (hardly any salmon visible & 80% tempura in the salmon kamikaze) & even the salmon sashimi pieces are smaller than other spots. Overall fresh & tasty, but way overpriced for what you get unfortunately…

The very BEST sushi in tmr!! The staff is always extremely friendly & super helfull. The ingredients are VERY fresh & that makes the whole difference!! I started buying sushi here a few months ago & haven't been able to have some from any other place, highly recommend!!
