A hidden gem in the Old Port of Montreal! Their lattes are so good! It's cool that they offer macadamia nut milk; I don't see a lot of places that offer it.
Just happened upon this little treasure of a cafe as we were making way by foot to the Japanese Festival (side note: underwhelming & disappointing). How cool is it that there's a order window outside.. it was an ideal set-up for a busy mom with her child out for a morning stroll. The space is welcoming albeit tiny (in a good way) & the baristas worked in relaxed, fluid unison. My friends ordered coffee & tea respectively as well as some pastries. I'm off caffeine atm. & was just taking in the atmosphere & the one barista without any prompting on my part asked me if I would like some water! That small touch of mindful customer service pays huge dividends in my mind which is largely why I write this review! In this day & age I have had plenty of negative customer service encounters so it's reassuring to know it's still out there. & I've got to say the more I visit Montréal good friendly customer service is par for the course say compared to say The Berkshires. Thanks for the fantastic service guys!
Love their macademia milk lattes! Great coffee & great frothing. Very friendly staff, fast service. Very convenient that you can order inside or from the street window.
I'm not sure if Micro Espresso was having an off day, but our experience was quite disappointing. Both my wife & I ordered Americanos-mine was decaf & hers was regular. Unfortunately, both drinks were extremely bitter & lacked the rich coffee flavor we were expecting. The overall quality was not up to par, leaving us both quite dissatisfied. Hopefully, this was just an anomaly, but based on this visit, we were not impressed.
I visited this Micro Espresso location for the first time while visiting Montreal. The service was quick & friendly, making the visit smooth & pleasant. My partner & I both got takeout lattes, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Although the cafe is quite small, there is limited seating available. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the city!
Cute coffee shop with highly knowledgeable & skilled baristas. Micro lot beans delivered exceptional flavors. Went here multiple times during our short stay in Montreal!
ive been to soooo many cafes in montreal looking for the best moka & im always disappointed. I experienced a ratatouille moment when I tasted the iced moka. I literally reached paradise. Its so creamy, it has the perfect amount of chocolate & the coffee tastes like that one time when i was in colombia & the barista roasted the coffee right in front of me...very fresh!! 10/10 i would recommend this place to anyone
