Very sour & acidic. Not at all the traditional Italian coffee they pretend to be. We couldn't finish our coffees.
The barista was nonchalant almost rude. Would not recommend.
Great coffee! If you're an Australian this coffee won't disappoint!! Also the baristas were so lovely, we sat at the bar ??
Sehr leckerer Kaffee und richtig guter, soft baked cookie 🖤 süßer Spot und netter barista.
A cute little coffee shop hidden in a corner of Old Port. It's mostly for takeout but they do have a tiny seating area. Great coffee served by friendly & skilled baristas! I always go for an iced latte which is definitely one of the best I've ever had in Montreal. Also LOVE their small batch roasted beans for espresso & cold brew.
Update: still my fav place 2 years later!
I used to love this place but apparently asking for a real hot coffee seems an impossible task for them. They were able to do that twice, so I know the machine is able to do it, but I need to find myself at least 7 times with a barely warm coffee & decide to take it without making a complain. On my last visit I did tell the barista that I did request it hot & he gave me such a bad attitude that I decided it was the last time. I don't know what's wrong with asking to have a hot coffee & on top, to have a guy make me feel bad about explaining what I asked for.
Lovely little place! Came in right near closing (apologetically!) but barista didn't appear upset which I appreciated. Tried their flat white with vanilla to sweeten. Beautifully full-bodied decaf espresso flavour with almost no acidity. Lovely cup! Very reasonable price as well.
Not once, not twice...but thrice. This was our favourite coffee shop & a frequent stop while visiting Montreal. The espresso was well rounded, smooth & flavourful. The barista's were consistent, with proper technique & skill. A must visit.
Highly recommend this café not only for the amazing coffee but the lovely service from the barista Bela! 🤍 If you're in old port highly recommend checking out this spot!
Just happened upon this little treasure of a cafe as we were making way by foot to the Japanese Festival (side note: underwhelming & disappointing). How cool is it that there's a order window outside.. it was an ideal set-up for a busy mom with her child out for a morning stroll. The space is welcoming albeit tiny (in a good way) & the baristas worked in relaxed, fluid unison. My friends ordered coffee & tea respectively as well as some pastries. I'm off caffeine atm. & was just taking in the atmosphere & the one barista without any prompting on my part asked me if I would like some water! That small touch of mindful customer service pays huge dividends in my mind which is largely why I write this review! In this day & age I have had plenty of negative customer service encounters so it's reassuring to know it's still out there. & I've got to say the more I visit Montréal good friendly customer service is par for the course say compared to say The Berkshires. Thanks for the fantastic service guys!
