Micro Espresso Café est décrit comme un petit espace très cosy, avec quelques tabourets et une ambiance minimaliste et accueillante, adapté surtout aux passages rapides et à emporter. L'endroit est idéal pour une halte rapide dans le vieux Montréal ou lors d'une balade, et plusieurs critiques reviennent sur la constance et la qualité des boissons. Des points mineurs reviennent aussi comme le coût supplémentaire des laits végétaux et des questions liées à la température des boissons lors de certaines visites, sans que cela n eclipsent globalement la popularité et la recommandation de Micro Espresso Café.
The people here were really nice! The only thing better was the coffee!
The location is small, but I had a change to sit down & enjoy the freshly made latte. I also enjoyed the walk to this location because I explored a part of Old Montreal that I otherwise wouldn't have!
A cute little coffee shop hidden in a corner of Old Port. It's mostly for takeout but they do have a tiny seating area. Great coffee served by friendly & skilled baristas! I always go for an iced latte which is definitely one of the best I've ever had in Montreal. Also LOVE their small batch roasted beans for espresso & cold brew.
Update: still my fav place 2 years later!

I used to love this place but apparently asking for a real hot coffee seems an impossible task for them. They were able to do that twice, so I know the machine is able to do it, but I need to find myself at least 7 times with a barely warm coffee & decide to take it without making a complain. On my last visit I did tell the barista that I did request it hot & he gave me such a bad attitude that I decided it was the last time. I don't know what's wrong with asking to have a hot coffee & on top, to have a guy make me feel bad about explaining what I asked for.
We had the cardamom cortado & the ginger cookie. The cardamom cortado was delicious- reminded me of Turkish coffee. The ginger cookie was just okay, nice texture but the flavor wasn't there.
This place has such vibes that I would love u guys to try. Coffee is top notch.. they had a new drink I hope they keep it on the menu.. Cardamon Cortado .. totally worth it.
Been here pretty much every day for my two week stay in Montreal. Coffee has been perfect every time & the batch brew has been full of interesting flavours To compliment the coffee, the Apple turnovers are some of the best I've ever eaten, when they've been available
I had pretty good coffees when I first started coming but these past few times the coffee tasted really bitter. I think there's dialing that needs to be looked at because almost 5$ for a cortado that's not dialed in is a bit offensive.

Not once, not twice...but thrice. This was our favourite coffee shop & a frequent stop while visiting Montreal. The espresso was well rounded, smooth & flavourful. The barista's were consistent, with proper technique & skill. A must visit.
Wow, hands down the best coffee (cortado) we have managed to find in the past 2 weeks in Canada (BC, AB & QC) & probably the closest in many years of visits, since moving to AUS 17 years ago, to a proper Melbourne cuppa. Thank you. 🙏🏻
