Best Arabic food I have had in a very long time. Tastes like home with rich flavors. My favorite was everything!!! Honestly the Muhammara was the best I have ever had! The eggplant Fatteh was mouthwatering & savory! I would post a picture but we ate everything!!! Very warm, family friendly, cozy environment to enjoy your meal with beautiful sounds of ethnic music playing softly in the background. Thank you Mezzmiz! As a Lebanese who visited Lebanon a week ago, when my coworker told me to try this place, I was perplexed, but wow, it tastes better than in Lebanon! The food is super fresh. I had the classic 4 mezza meal with Eggplant Fateh (yogurt, fried bread, & fried eggplant dish). It was very good. The hoummous, mouhamara, & tabouleh were also very tasty & fresh.View more

Loved this place ! I tried different shawarmas, potatoes, fatteh, tabbouleh, chich barak. They were very tasty, the sauce, the spices everything is wow BUT the portions are pretty small I would have given it a 5/5 if the portions were bigger 🌯🍽️👍View more

Delicious food! The ingredients used are fresh & the mezze items are flavorful. I was especially impressed by the falafel - I don't usually order falafel when I eat out because it's oftentimes very dry, but at Mezzmiz their falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside & soft on the inside. I was surprised at how good the food was considering it's in an area that caters primarily to university students on a budget, but my assumptions were proven wrong. All the staff I interacted with were very friendly as well. My ONLY critique is that there were a few fruit flies buzzing around my table - it looked like they were also attracted to the recycling bin & plants in the front of the restaurant. I know it's hard to avoid flies especially in the summer, but I think if the recycling/trash is better maintained (maybe the bin itself needs to be cleaned out) & the plants replaced with fake plants, it wouldn't be an issue. Didn't detract too much from the meal, though. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience here. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Montréal!View more
