What a cool place! I had the veggie salad with a beer & my boyfriend had a veggie burger with a slush. It was really good. The people there were very nice. I have been here before & really enjoy this place.

This was our first stop coming to Montreal from the states & it did not disappoint. Walking in the unassuming factory exterior we were greeted with a vibrant taproom & live plants. The bartenders were great to talk to about the different beers. We then tried the buffalo chicken poutine & smash burger neither of which disappointed. Being from New England, Messorem makes hands down the best New England style IPA I have tasted. None of their beers we tried were less than a 4/5. We loved this place so much we came back on our last night in the city & had an equally amazing time. Great place for watching the Habs too! Highly recommend to any craft beer fan coming to Montreal. A++++
I really love beer & heard from all my friends I had to drop by while visiting from Vancouver. Messorem did not disappoint. We don't get quality NEIPA's out west & the two I tried were some of the best I've ever had! I had an ipa & dipa that were so so so so good!
The barrelled saisons on tap also were fantastic & not to be missed. As a saison lover I was very happy! I also enjoyed a lager (New Zealand?) that was a nice crispi boi to finish off my experience.
Gonna say that this is a MUST TRY stop for any beer lover.
The staff were amazing & helpful in selecting the perfect beers (je ne sais pas lire le francais) & also took some time to chat with me about the brewery & what beers were popular & a specialty.
The industrial location was dope & so glad I got out of the DT, & more gentrified neighbourhoods.
Lastly let's talk about the food. Beers were 10/10 but the smash burger also was one the best I've had & definitely a foodies life goals. It wasn't trying to be anything fancy but a simply perfectly executed smash burger. Tellement incroyable & delicieux! Frites & poutine also deserve an honourable mention!
Anyhow I'll be remembering these beers for a while & begging my Montreal friends to haul some suitcase beers on their next visit out west!

I've had many a burger in my life from 9oz double stacked patties with cheese & bacon to the thinnest of Smash Burgers that are crisper then a chip. Here at @mitchdeli_messorem you get something right in the middle of that.
Absolutely a show stopping smash burger. You need to check out my buddies spot its amazing & grab a craft beer while you're there. I love a smash burger that come out piping hot. From the meat, to the bun, just holding this thing might burn your hands, but that's what you want! A smash burger that's cool when you bite into it, is not a real smash burger. It needs to be hot.
Perfectly cook patties, nice & even cook, crispy, great eat tecture & very juicy still. What looks like to be American cheese, again perfect. Some Pickles, a little onion & a sauce to tie it all together... That's all she wrote folks! Perfection in a bun.
My buddy also recommended I get the poutine, & at first I was like ok Yaya it's a poutine you had one you had them all... I was so wrong, this is one of my favourite poutine I've had yet in MTL. Sauce, fries & cheese, amazing combo & flavour! I see what you're talking about @maxime_gagne_ very good!
10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for great food & some great beer. Sick vibe, FOODGASMIC 💦 approved!
Le Messorem offre une combinaison mortelle (tel qu'illustré dans leur branding): de la bière artisanale & le meilleur burger au poulet frit de Montréal (une coproduction heureuse avec la cuisine de Mitch Deli). Vaste espace industriel en décrépitude offre la toile de fond de cet espace sympathique où vous croiserez autant le stag party d'un groupe de Toronto que le promeneur avec son chien bien tranquille dans son coin sirotant sa bière. Le service se fait au comptoir d'où l'on quitte avec sa bière. Vaste choix, prix élevé, qualité correspondante au prix. On ramasse la nourriture à l'extérieur via la terrasse.
