Menthe & Couscous: A restaurant with a warm decor & atmosphere in Montreal! Menthe & Couscous offers gourmet cuisine from North Africa, traditional Tunisian & Moroccan dishes in particular, where authentic culinary customs are applied. Specialties consist of lamb, chicken, merguez sausage or royal couscous's, finely spiced, letting the taste of vegetables and the delicious flavor of semolina virgin olive oil stand out. Grills are also part of the restaurant's menu where you will discover authentic and delicious dishes made with fresh & high quality produces. You will have the occasion to discover Tunisian salads that are rich in color & flavor. They are fresh & perfumed, perfect for the Summer, but can be savored any time of the year. The brick is an essential classic of North African cooking. We prepare it as a hot appetizer for a feast or as a light meal. Infinite versions exist for this typical dish. Fresh mint is almost omnipresent in North Africa. Nothing beats mint tea to transport you to Maghreb. I spent one of the best romantic nights yesterday at this place. The waiters are very friendly & the food was delicious. I strongly recommend this restaurant & don't forget to bring your wine:)

Super resto, apportez votre vin pour un groupe de fille c'est parfait. La nourriture était excellente j'ai pris la soupe traditionnel en entrée Wow rien a dire le couscous à l'agneau était préparé à la perfection tendre & goûteux. Mes copines ont également le tajine poulet très bon & les portions sont aussi très généreuse. Le service était impeccable l'ambiance parfaite pour un groupe d'amie musique d'ambiance. C'était ma première expérience dans ce restaurant & certainement pas la dernière.

The food was great, the service was very good & the music was gorgeous (romantic old French) which made me fall in love again with my wife, the problem that as the food was great & I had a lot of wine so I had to leave early cuz I was sleepy, so ladies don't let your husbands eat a lot :) the best thing is that the prices are more than reasonable, the waiter made a deal with us that we will pay a fixed amount & eat as much as we can. Conclusion it is worth trying, by my self I will go there again for sure.
