We opened our first cafe in 2013 with the mission of offering specialty coffee in a warm and inclusive environment.
During our expansion, we quickly understood that as a company, our central commitment was to our employees. It is with them and thanks to them that everything else is possible.
Overall, MELK Café is described as a stylish, cozy spot with excellent coffee and friendly, multilingual staff. Passion for the beverages is evident with praise for matcha, chai, and a standout cappuccino, and cookies, scones, and banana bread are frequently highlighted as tasty treats. Prices are sometimes described as a bit high, with muffins, scones, and other snacks cited as pricey, though many feel the quality justifies it. The interior and atmosphere are repeatedly praised as warm and inviting, and some reviewers rate it as among the best cafes in the area. Crowding and noise can be an issue, especially on weekend mornings, with tables small and often taken by laptops, shifting the vibe toward a coworking feel. A few comments touch on inconsistency in drink taste or service and on a service charge, but overall staff are friendly and attentive. The place is noted for its versatile seating and occasional outdoor area, with decor and a photo above the bar earning compliments.
It is really cozy european coffee place. A lot of options & nice options for milk alternative. It is really busy it is not guaranted the place to sit. There is free water to drink that is such a great thing because coffee dehydrates. The stuff is kind & smiley. Thank you
Great atmosphere & good coffee, the food options are a bit stuck in the middle of healthy cafe or quick "healthy" snacks . They have some good items but the variety isn't the best .
There is not always space to sit & enjoy your coffee. We usually get it to go. The everything bagel scone is the best savoury scone & I highly recommend.

Been coming here for years & drink quality has gone down significantly over the past year. It used to be the coffee would be very acidic when hot, then cool down & become more flavorful. Now the acidity & bitterness continue increasing as the drink cools.
Cute lil café with lots of beverages & snacks! I got a large hot chocolate with dark chocolate & marshmallow, & it tasted very good! Very busy on a Saturday morning, but they serve your drink quite quickly, & they fill it to the brim (I had to drink a few sips before I took my photo, otherwise it would've spilt). Hot chocolate with tip was 6.54$ :)
Polite staff & exceptional service! Fantastic atmosphere to relax in on a cold October day! I highly recommend the Maple latte for those who like it sweet! ☕🍁

Merci! Looking for a refreshing drink that's caffeine free? Have the iced rooibos tea. They unfortunately didn't have lemonade 🍋 (next time). My friend took the iced matcha tea. The coffee smelled so yummy so I will have to return in the morning to have a cup ☕️ there is places to sit outside or inside. I like the green packaging & the colourful stools outside. Thank you! Bonus: il y a des ampoules sur un chaîne 💡 there are light bulbs on a string (don't know if they have a different name haha 😂) Double bonus: il y a une rampe à l'entrée (mais j'ai vu juste les escaliers devant. C'est curieux).
A nice & always packed place. The Macha latte was good, although it was the first time I had one of those. Still prefer latte or vanilla latte, which they got. The fruit muffin was the greatest. I would recommend trying this place out if you are in the area, but expect taking out unless you are lucky to find space or share the table with others.
