Food was really good. Wait staff needs some work. They served us the bill while we were eating & insisted we paid bc the wait staff had completed their shift. We paid & tipped 18%. After we paid, we ordered 2 additional soft drinks & were told that we would have to pay for it from the bus boy (which is totally fine). At the end of the meal, we saw our new waitress for the second time & we paid for the pop. The waitress walked by & scoffed at us & said of course no tip. & just Made us feel really uncomfortable. We had paid our bill while still eating our meal & had already tipped. It was just really unprofessional & uncomfortable for us. Will not come again.

We found the pub on Valentine's Day & it was very quiet. The staff was very attentive & friendly. There for any of our needs. Greg served us that night & he was extraordinary, going above & beyond. He made suggestions on the menu & took the time to get to know us. A great ambassador for the bar. The chef not only was an amazing cook, he was very friendly & outgoing as well. Overall, the staff was amazing which brought us back in on Thursday & Saturday as well. They were all well trained.

I've come to this place for the past 5 years every Friday, love the food & staff but now they changed the prices of the pool table. Kind of disappointed tbh. Before it was just the coin mechanism jamming & one of the pockets being broken but now increasing the price to play & not making it affordable just adds onto the problems that's been going on for months. Would come again for the people & food only.

I love McLeans so much, me & my friends go there on a weekly basis! Such a great vibe, bartenders are super friendly & provide great/fast service! Only thing is the pool tables, a lot of our friends come here to play pool but the machine can get jammed sometimes & eat the money...I still come here every week because I know it'll be a fun night but upping the prices for a pool table that doesn't even work that well, the pocket for example has been broken for a few months now, otherwise it's great but makes it a little disappointing.

We stopped here after a Canadienes game to grab a bite & watch the Superbowl. Good food, fun atmosphere but service was slow (probably because of the game)

A visit to this historic, downtown Montreal Pub is worthwhile. The interior boasts aged oak & other unique elements. The atmosphere is comforting & welcoming, The pub fare is very good, & there is enough variety for most tastes. It's been around for a long time; that in itself should put it on your dining list.

Been there (the new one) twice already. Once for a work outing & once for a boys night out. Both times I enjoyed. Nice vibe, helpful staff.

Music is a little hit & miss! I was there after a rugby match on a Saturday around 2ish & it was quiet with only a few customers. Staff are lovely & pours a good beer. I will definitely be back.
