Brena, stav & Kyle where the best people I could have met. I thought I was walking g into a bar but I ended up making great friend in Montreal. Incredibly homey place with incredibly friendly people. 10/10
We were a group of 12 dudes cruising / predrinking before bachelor party shenanigans ended up at Mclean's . We watched game 6 Stanley cup finals upstairs.to start , location of Mclean's is unreal . In the heart of the city!! The service : Huge shout out to the bar staff upstairs - Steph & Tim were absolutely swamped but managed to juggle multiple large groups along with many smaller groups & keep the service top notch . They were proactive & helpful when it came to drink request & food request . Other staff member up there were helpful with clean up as well . Great job to all the staff for sure! Food quality : top notch . I had chicken wings & burger ... delicious ! Kudos to the chef !! Price point : extremely fair . Was expecting to pay a premium for the drinks I was ordering & to my surprise it was lower then anticipated ! Atmosphere : it was great . We played pool, watched the game , good music I highly recommend this place . Thank you mcleans pub . Steph thank you , service was exceptional!

Our hotel concierge recommended this as a good place to grab a drink. We sat at the bar & were greeted & taken good care of by Greg. I told him I like bourbon but didn't know what I wanted so after a little chat he created a cocktail for me - which was delicious & should be on the menu! We enjoyed our cocktails & talking to Greg who was very friendly & helpful! Food looked good but we weren't terribly hungry so just shared some sweet potato fries.
Brenna was fantastic so fantastic everything we needed she took care of for us very friendly & very happy with a great attitude. Shout out to Greg for being a st Catherine's stud & a great bartender!
The service was ok, but my glass went empty a few times. Also, the nachos could use a major upgrade or some flair added to them. On the plus side it is a nice bar & decent atmosphere.
We found the pub on Valentine's Day & it was very quiet. The staff was very attentive & friendly. There for any of our needs. Greg served us that night & he was extraordinary, going above & beyond. He made suggestions on the menu & took the time to get to know us. A great ambassador for the bar. The chef not only was an amazing cook, he was very friendly & outgoing as well. Overall, the staff was amazing which brought us back in on Thursday & Saturday as well. They were all well trained.
I love McLeans so much, me & my friends go there on a weekly basis! Such a great vibe, bartenders are super friendly & provide great/fast service! Only thing is the pool tables, a lot of our friends come here to play pool but the machine can get jammed sometimes & eat the money...I still come here every week because I know it'll be a fun night but upping the prices for a pool table that doesn't even work that well, the pocket for example has been broken for a few months now, otherwise it's great but makes it a little disappointing.
The hostess was nice. However, the server was absolutely horrible. The server was not attentive to the table nor knowledgeable of the menu & bar items. The beverages from the bar were pretty decent. However, the Long Island that I ordered was more cola than anything.

The food was great but the service on the upper level is non existent. In almost 3 hours the server/barman came to the table 3 times, & one of those was for paying the tab.
Moi & une amie avons réservé pour le match de la coupe grey. Le service était très bien. Avec le manque de personnel, nous étions très compréhensif. Wow les cornichons frits numéro un! la guiness aussi très savoureuse. En plus victoire des Als:):) . Côté amélioration. Barrière de la mézanine à solidifier. Espace un peu restraint. J'aime beaicoup le style rustique:).
