Welcome to McKibbin's Irish Pub "West Island". McKibbin's has very quickly established itself as "The Local Pub". With 28 imported beers on tap and excellent cuisine served from noon till 3am we have also become the place to quench both thirst and hunger. As soon as you walk into the Pub the very authentic decor as well as the very warm and cozy atmosphere will overcome you. You will suddenly be transported to Ireland in the blink of an eye.

Cozy atmosphere with great vibes! The food was excellent, especially the burger & Caesar salad. They also had a really cool live band playing.

Has a nice & welcoming vibe, pretty much what you'd expect from McKibbin's. The food, however, was really disappointing. We tried their poutine & onion soup (probably not great choices in an Irish pub, but still).

I went to McKibbin's Irish Pub in the West Island with some friends, & we had a great time. They have a solid beer selection-I tried the apricot beer, & it was really good, nice & refreshing. For food, I had the honey-cut fries, which were delicious, & everyone in my group enjoyed their meals as well.

There was a solo artist playing live music, & he was really talented. It added to the Irish pub atmosphere, but depending on where you're sitting, it can get pretty loud. some tables are right up to the stage, so if you're trying to have a conversation with friends, it might get a bid loud. Not a bad thing but something to be aware of. Overall, though, it's a great spot with good drinks, tasty food, & a fun vibe. I'd definitely go back!

"I really like the new vibe they've given to the place, especially the service area, & it's nice to hear bands from their early days, good jamming, covers. The food is a bit lacking, but just a matter of tweaking, highly recommended."
