Waited over 40 minutes for our order - just one chicken handi with naan & one chicken burger. Very disappointing experience at Mazedaar Restaurant.
The portion size for the chicken handi was extremely unjustified for the price. I've tried many restaurants around Montreal, & this was by far one of the worst value-for-money experiences.
We specifically asked for spicy food, & although they said they adjusted it, the dish was still bland & lacked flavor.
Burger was just ok nothing great about it.
Overall, the food, quantity, & wait time did not meet expectations. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this place.
Right off the bat, the menu is at 80% reduction from what you see, most is crossed out & unavailable.
Restaurant vibe is ok, decent amount of sitting space.
I took takeout, which was made fresh, & was hot. I would say that the curries tasted quite similar despite being different items, & all were spicy. After eating a few bites the distinction between the dishes disappeared as my mouth couldn't tell the difference anymore.
Had the spicy lamb chops, delicious. will come back to try something else !
The food in this diner is amazing, I had a spicy butter chicken naan wrap & it was incredible, I could easily come back here to try more foods, & the atmosphere is also very chill. It's a great experience.
I had the crispy chicken naan roll the spicy way & it is very good. Not too much of spice not too little & everything blends well together.
