Really unique & cozy atmosphere. My wife & I had been wanting to try it out & we walked in on a Saturday night, no reservation needed. We were offered several wine options that went nicely with a dish we shared. Though I can't remember the wine I tried, the burrata plate with squash was incredibly good. I'd highly recommend it while it's still on their seasonal menu.
Returning this week to pick up some flowers, their arrangements are really cool. I think they even offer flower workshops which sounds like an awesome couples activity.
The neighbourhood is beautiful too. If you're ever in the area I recommend stopping by for a drink, a bite & an arrangement.

This is a honest review. As much as I was excited to try out this place, the first visit turned out to be so disappointing (blame it on the day - Valentine's Day, or the restaurant's unpreparedness). With a valid dinner reservation, we turned up 10 minutes early expecting to be seated soon, & to our disappointment we never got a table until about 50 minutes later (past actual reservation time). This also considering we were supposed to be a group of 4, & only 3 of us could make it that night. & then, there was a set menu (different from their standard menu on the website) which wasn't advertised on their site while booking the table (which is a basic expectation). It took more than 30 minutes to be served'bread' that they didn't have to heat/make , & in spite of all of this we made a genuine effort to order the food - set menu. That also took the longest & only to be served an undercooked pasta (if there's ever a term, I'd call it Al Al dente). By this time of the night, all the wait had suppressed the hunger pangs we had built up. The wine bottle we ordered was fantastic, the only saving grace for the night.
I want to be kind to the staff because I want to think & feel that they were not prepared & tried their best, but I also need to share this because customer service is paramount, & sometimes even with a bad experience the way you are treated will make you forgive or forget that it couldn't be the worst. I'm not ruling out a second visit but definitely not on a day like this or I'd rather ask the restaurant to ask the patrons to honor the table times they've been given & enforce it.

J'y suis allée en date avec mon copain & on a tous les deux adoré. L'espace est petit & super chaleureux, on a dégusté chacun un merveilleux verre de vin nature.
La nourriture est de type'plats à partager'. On a opté pour le plateau de charcuteries & fromages qui était tout simplement parfait ainsi que le plat de pâtes (miam) & la burrata ( aussi très bonne). Le dessert était vraiment cochon :). Le service était super. Vraiment, rien de négatif à dire. Même les choix musicaux étaient géniaux! Bonus: nous sommes partis avec un beau petit bouquet de fleurs. À visiter sans modération! 💚
Nous avons organisé un événement privé (de 50 personnes) au Mauve vin & fleurs & nous avons été comblés pas notre soirée! Le service était exceptionnel, ils ont été aux petits soins & se sont assurés de répondre à toutes nos demandes. La nourriture était fabuleuse, nous avons pu goûter à une grande sélection de plats raffinés, sous forme d'apéro dinatoire & la sélection de vin était on point! Un énorme merci à l'équipe Mauve d'avoir fait de cette soirée un moment inoubliable.
One of our favorite little spots in Montreal! Such a cute wine bar, we love the concept! The wine was so well curated & the food was delicious... just the right sized plates! Melodie was so wonderful, friendly & helpful! Can't wait to come back!

Je suis allée au Mauve pour la première fois à l'occasion d'une activité de fabrication de couronnes & de dégustation de vin. C'était génial: l'endroit est beau & chaleureux, le personnel est sympathique & passionnée. Je n'ai pas eu la chance de goûter aux plats sur le menu mais j'y retournerai bientôt.

J'adore cette place! Très chaleureux, on voit que beaucoup d'attention aux détails est apporté tant au menu qu'au décor. J'adore pouvoir partir avec mon bouquet de fleur a la fin d'une soirée :) elle sont magnifiques!

Lovely experience. I discovered this wine bar recently & have introduced it to friends. Beautiful, laid back atmosphere with great food & unique wines. Highly recommend for a first date or a celebration with friends. Very good price/quality range.

Le Mauve sur Laurier est une véritable pépite d'or. Dès qu'on entre, on est accueilli par une ambiance chaleureuse, élégante & apaisante, avec un décor raffiné qui met en valeur le charme de la rue Laurier.
Le service est irréprochable : attentif, courtois, mais jamais envahissant. On sent que l'équipe a à coeur de rendre chaque visite mémorable.
& que dire de la cuisine? Les plats sont un pur délice. Créatifs, parfaitement exécutés & présentés avec soin. Les saveurs sont équilibrées & les ingrédients d'une qualité irréprochable. Mention spéciale pour la Burrata saisonnière qui est EXTRAORDINAIRE
