Yuk! Absolutely yuk! Wrong order, took way way way too long, staff were high & drunk. Absolutely my worst experience, cousins & colleague all had food poisoning. A lot of police presence, a lot of young criminals for sure street gangs. Not what we were expecting.
This place is amazing. The food is top notch for starters... The service was outstanding for how busy they are. I am amazed with how well it is being run for how new it is. I was fortunate enough to speak to the owners & they are high class individuals. This place is legit. Highly recommend

J'ai adoré mon expérience à ce restaurant! Le menu est parfaitement varié avec des goûts & saveurs goûteuses. L'ambiance, musique & atmosphère excellentes. Employés aux petits soins & cocktails excellents. Le restaurant est très spacieux, décorations digne d'un hotel 5 étoiles. 100% recommandations
Really great atmosphere & music. Wait for the food was a little long but worth it. Would also like to point out the professionalism of the security team at this restaurant. Very kindly greeted & very respectful & effective once I addressed a concern. Thank you!

Oysters are to die for... Tomahawk was chewy too salty but huge & looking great. Red velvet cake on the house for my birthday... not so good, well it's on the house :-) There was a party on the second floor with extreme loud music. The Korean Chef is very welcoming & funny... Would I go back, maybe for the oysters!
I've read some reviews saying "black groups get segregated upstairs, away from everyone else"... That's a complete misrepresentation of what's happening! LARGE groups/parties of all kinds are typically seated upstairs to have their own space & the service is as good as anywhere else. This evening, a large group of 50+ teachers ate upstairs & the vibe was off the charts. Everyone had excellent service, enjoyed great food & the staff cleared an area a bit of dancing. Read as many reviews as you'd like, but don't judge MAÜ until you've experienced it for yourself.
Our group had a great time , the food was excellent & the staff was friendly & ready to please. Its a palce to see & be seen! Our group had a great time! Enjoy the new hot spot in Montreal!
Amazing food & atmosphere, the ceviche was top. Service can use some work, but as expected from a new restaurant. Looking forward to our next visit!
WoW , finalement un endroit spectaculaire digne de ce nom ! La cuisine de chef Lee est sublime . Un nouveau incontournable à Montréal possédant 3 étage ce qui permet une fois le repas terminé de descendre & poursuivre la soirée entre amis dans le speakeasy ! Beau concept félicitations!
I popped in at Mau on a Thursday night in their 2nd weeks of operations, & first of all hats off to them for having the guts to launch F1 week in MTL... i was interested in checking it out since ive been to the flagship location in Miami...was greeted by an Old friend George who's been in resto & bar industry for years... I hadn't seen him in years. We sat in the main lobby bar where Shayne the bartender really did provide a great service... we asked for a Vodka based drink & he made for us one of their signature cocktails called the Novia...it was very good. He was also nice enough to give us a tour of the entire venue... beautiful space. Lots of different options... I didnt eat, but the service was great, & the atmosphere was very nice. I'll go back & eat soon. Good luck to the entire team... no complaints here.. especially since it's so new.
This place wasn't ready to open on F1 weekend, the staff were disorganized, most of the food & drinks we ordered never came, but the staff were nice.
Big fan of the Mau Miami family. Glad to can Mau Montreal home as well.
Just heard the GOAT swedish will be DJ there - can't wait. This will become the hottest spot in MTL.
