Went there for someone's birthday for a huge group of 50. No matter how chaotic it was the staff was amazing & always courteous. We had sharing menus & the food was very good for the most part with maybe one or two misses. Overall, the vibe was really inviting & had a luxurious atmosphere to it all without feeling like you will be snubbed. Also, had an afterparty in the underground section with a DJ & it was quite a blast!

I've read some reviews saying "black groups get segregated upstairs, away from everyone else"... That's a complete misrepresentation of what's happening! LARGE groups/parties of all kinds are typically seated upstairs to have their own space & the service is as good as anywhere else. This evening, a large group of 50+ teachers ate upstairs & the vibe was off the charts. Everyone had excellent service, enjoyed great food & the staff cleared an area a bit of dancing. Read as many reviews as you'd like, but don't judge MAÜ until you've experienced it for yourself.

My experience here was absolutely amazing. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone I know. I've been going to formula 1 weekend in Montreal for years now & I have never seen a restaurant so organized & running so smoothly. The unimaginable part was they were only a week old. The food presentation was excellent & tasted even better so hats off to chef. Our server handled themselves with professionalism & brought a vibe to this place which really tied the experience together. Emylie was amazing. If you're reading this right now. Don't even second guess yourself. Go here.
