One of the best Korean spots i've eaten the food was AMAZING, big portions amd satisfying to my taste. The workers were very nice & welcoming & very hardworking aswell.😁💪 I hope to see a very bright & succesfull future for this restaurant.🙏

I had the fried chicken, which was good, but some of the pieces were mostly gristle & bone. The nice pieces were good though. My wife very much enjoyed the miso soup & my kids liked the ramen & dumplings. The place was cold. AC seemed to be on, even though it was not that warm out in early May. The food too a long time to come. In fact, we ordered beer as well but they only brought that out at the same time as the food. So we sat there for around 30 minutes without the beer being brought out. Also, it seemed like the wait staff also work in the kitchen. I think service would improve if they had people who do nothing but serve tables. Lastly note about servers, there is no point wearing latex gloves if you NEVER take them off! They touch everything with the gloves on, cash register, plates, receipts, cleaning cloths.... never took the gloves off. Overall, I'll try this place again to see if we have a better experience next time. It was decent overall, but I have a feeling I didn't get their best this first time.

They're super busy, once they got your order it's not a long wait for the food to come, we love the boneless fried chicken combo it very generous portions including fries , 2 fried veggies dumpling , japchae & 3 different sauces ( my favourite were garlic soy & onion cream) everything was delicious

Uber eats: Spicy pork bulgogi udon très épicé mais tellement bon j'ai tout fini Takoyaki très bon! Soupe miso & kimchi aussi. J'ai beaucoup aimé. Je recommanderais bientôt 🤗. Les mauvais avis viennent sûrement des restos concurrents 😭

Best fried chicken in Montreal! The white onion sauce is absolutely tasty so as the sweet & sour sauce.

New menu items are delish! So happy they have kimmari, rosé tteokbokki, chicken katsu, spicy chicken in addition to their yummy fried chicken!

Weird they didn't have gamjatang Sucks I came all the way here & to find out it's only a winter special What a let down This place could have been perfect Food is ok not bad but not the best This place would be 5 star if they had gamjatang They should make it clear the gamjatang is only available winte

Anytime when I'm looking for real Korean restaurant as Korean in Montreal, I always cannot find any better than Matjip. It is real authentic Korean cuisine. It makes me to feel home :) Also service is welcoming me. Super!

Love their fried chicken! Other dishes are also well done. Pickup in store is great online or by call.
