I was there with my son Sunday September 18th 2022 for the first time. The ambience is low key but very relaxing, everyone was very nice & the food was delicious!!! I will definitely be back & will recommend this place to many.
We were not greeted by the employee when we entered. When we sat down we were asked if we wanted to see the menu!?! The waiters (there were two) did not ask if we wanted anything from the bar. The food arrived in a timely manner & was delicious (LOVE the chettinad chicken!). At no time were we asked if all was OK or if we enjoyed the food or if we wanted coffee/tea/dessert (there were only a few others in the restaurant so they certainly would have had the time to do that). Just seemed as though the 2 employees were not trained &/or familiar with the usual server manners. Due to the sub-standard service experienced, would not dine there again, but would order for delivery.
Amit, the restaurant co-owner, was so welcoming that it was a delight to meet him while we were waiting for our order to be ready. The food was delicious & the chef is one of a kind. I highly recommend this restaurant & I'm sure to become a regular there.
Best indian cuisine in Montreal! I've tried so many different places & this is the only one that truly tastes delicious, fresh & authentic. I've recommended it to all of my friends😍
Loved it ! Perfect service, knows how to make authentic Indian. I'm a picky eater, mostly when it comes to Indian cuisine but this restaurant wow ! Would 100% recommend it.

Ordered for the first time last week & everything was excellent. We had Samosas, Onion Bhaji, Butter Chicken, Tawa paneer, Shai Malai Kofta, with Naan bread, raita & rice. It was divine best Indian food we have ever had. Liked it so much we are ordering again tonight.
I wanted to support a new west island restaurant... & here goes ... Amazing food.!I had the Dal soup onion Baajhi, Butter chicken, beef biryani , Dal Masala Art , Chana Masala Baignan Bharta..each dish perfectly created with its own special fragrant spices. The butter chicken with beautiful tender chicken pieces cooked with a velvety cream sauce the beef biryani... so fresh, so pleasing to the palat. We have many west island Indian restaurants, all of them with their particular specialties & prices. Masala Art stands up a notch in perfection & delivery Try it out, you will enjoy the superior quality of this new establishment with friendly & prompt service ...
We tried this restaurant last week & the food was fantastic.
We normally go to Sahib for indian food, but the last few times there was issues with delivery either being late (food cold) or some items missing in the order (& they didn't seem to care when we complained).
Anyhow, it turned out to be a good thing. At Masala, the food seems fresher & tastier. If you enjoy indian food, I strongly recommend it.
Very very very good Indian food. The tika roll & tandoori chicken were flavourful & just spicy enough; good value for money. Best palak paneer I've eaten in Montreal. I highly recommend this place!
Absolutely best Indian food I have had. I highly recommend the butter chicken poutine. A wonder take on a Quebec classic. Service was quick & friendly. Highly recommended.
