Au cours des 30 dernières années, le chef Anil a concocté des plats créatifs et délicieux de toute l'Inde. Né et élevé à Delhi, en Inde, Anil a obtenu son diplôme de l'école culinaire. Il a travaillé comme chef dans des hôtels 5 étoiles d'élite tels que l'Oberoi’s, le Park Royal et le Park Hotel à Delhi. Il a également ouvert un restaurant indien à Moscou, en Russie, en 1997. En 2006, il a participé au LE CORDON BLEU - CULINARY CUP qui s'est tenu à New Delhi. Plus tard dans l'année 2006, Anil a eu l'occasion de venir à Montréal, au Canada, pour travailler pour un restaurant indien gastronomique. Maintenant, Anil est tout enthousiasmé par cette nouvelle entreprise visant à satisfaire les Montréalais et à tester leurs papilles gustatives avec la nourriture de partout en Inde.
Masala Art offre des plats indiens authentiques et riches en saveurs, avec des recettes allant du butter chicken et biryani aux momos et plats tandoori, servis chauds et généreux. Le choix est varié et comprend de nombreuses options végétariennes, tandis que les ingrédients semblent frais et les préparations soignées. Le cadre est chaleureux et l'ambiance conviviale, ce qui rend chaque visite agréable et mémorable. Le service est globalement attentif et professionnel, avec des conseils utiles et une équipe accueillante qui contribue à une expérience globale satisfaisante. En somme, Masala Art est souvent cité comme une référence pour la cuisine indienne dans le quartier, alliant qualité, constance et plaisir des papilles.
The price does not justify the quantity per platter that we received, therefore 3 stars, however the food is very tasty.

We receive good quantity of food in a box when we order after my first review. I live how they take every feedback into consideration & make your following experiences better. Food is excellent. My best wishes are with this restaurant. They are by far the best Indian restaurant in West Island.
Indian food has become our go to. When we can't decide on a restaurant for a Saturday night, Indian food rarely disappoints.
Friends, who live in the West Island recommended this place so we double dated to give it a try.
Because the menu was so extensive it took us a few minutes to figure out what we wanted to order.
We decided to share, between the 4 of us, the Samosa Chaat with Chick Peas. The 2 vegetable samosas were cut into 6 pieces & covered in a chicken pea curry. This was not a spicy dish & is very filling. Delicious!
Then we ordered, a Chicken 65, the Chili Garlic Chicken, a plain Naan & a rice.
The Chicken 65 was a nice size plate of breaded tender mortals of chicken with curry leaves, ginger, garlic & mustard seeds mixed into a red sticky sauce. Very Good!
The Chili Garlic Chicken is found on the Indian Chinese portion of their menu. Why not try something different. It wasn't. It was the same small cut up pieces of chicken but with a garlic, chili, onion & green pepper sauce. A cut up basket of Naan & fluffy basmati rice followed.
Being the first time we're eating here, we were pleasantly surprised.
The food was loaded with flavor, & served hot.
The service could have been quicker & more attentive.
Would we ever go back? For sure.

This is some very good, high quality Indian food. We have a lot of Indian restaurants in the Montreal & surrounding area, but not many good ones.
I was pleasantly surprised today when I ate there for the first time. Food was excellent, service was quick & courteous & I enjoyed every dish that we ordered. This is somewhere I'll add to my list of go to's from now on!
Very delicious Indian food & in my opinion, best enjoyed at the restaurant where it's served hot & fresh. All the dishes we ordered were so flavourful. I usually find biryanis a bit dry but their Chicken Biryani is the best I've had. We also really enjoyed the Butter Chicken, the Baingan Bharta (eggplant) & the Andhra Style Prawns Masala. We brought leftovers home & it was still delicious the next day.
Having worked with Chef Anil in the past, including during his time at Karma, I was excited to see him open his own place-& it absolutely delivers.
He brings the same refined, authentic, high-end approach he was known for, but in a setting that's far more accessible without sacrificing quality. The flavors are bold, layered, & genuinely transportive-some dishes keep taking you straight back to Mumbai.
This is top-notch Indian cuisine done right: thoughtful, balanced, & deeply authentic. A must-try for anyone who truly loves Indian food.
This is my favorite Indian cuisine spot in the West Island & all over Montreal. What I love about it is the consistency of the great food they serve & the friendliness of the staff. Last night we were a group of 12 & everyone loved the food, the service, & the affordability of all the authentic dishes we ordered.
The food quality was outstanding. Every dish was rich in flavor, perfectly spiced, & clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The aromas alone were mouthwatering, & the presentation was just as impressive. Each bite felt authentic & satisfying, reminding me of true Indian home-style cooking with a refined touch.

We went here for dinner after a couple years for our mom's birthday. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The food was so good & all came out on time. We enjoyed a variety of dishes from samosa chaat, onion bhaji, fish pakora, chicken tikka, kabobs, chicken curry & a variety of veggie dishes. Their tandoori skills are fantastic! I highly recommend trying those dishes. I know everyone goes for the creamy ones like butter chicken, but the chicken curry is fantastic! The best part is that you know they are using good ingredients in a clean kitchen because all 7 of our group felt great after the meal. The only improvement that I think would elevate it to the next level is to invest in a proper serving staff. While there were really nice, it would take this restaurant to the next level. Well done! Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Montreal.

My first visit to montreal from florida find an indian restaurant it didn't disappoint me with food flavors I had there either tandoori or main dishes above all server had nice knowledge of food & spices which is very good part for restaurant thanks gurpreet for making our day will visit again..

We recently hosted a party & had the pleasure of working with this amazing Indian restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious - every dish was bursting with authentic flavors & beautifully presented. Our guests couldn't stop raving about it!
What truly stood out, though, was the service. The team went above & beyond to make sure everything was seamless & stress-free. From the initial planning to the final delivery, they were professional, friendly, & incredibly accommodating.
A big thank you to my friend Sumit Sharma for the fantastic recommendation - it truly made our event special. Highly recommended for anyone looking to impress their guests with some great food !!

Very nice, spacious restaurant with gorgeous walls ❤?❤? The service is fantastic & the owners are very welcoming 😇😇 We had the Delhi Chaat Platter (half) , chicken momos, & Chilli Garlic Chicken & each bite was very delicious ❤?❤? Full compliments to the chef for making such tasty Indian food! Perfect 10/10 Indian restaurant to bring your friends & family & enjoy the delicacies 🎉🎉
I usually am not a fan of indian food but this place is amazing!!! Amazing service & food! Clean & cozy place also. Highly recommend. Amazing staff also! Also I am lactose intolerant & the man there was very patient & made sure my order was made without creams etc… best Indian restaurant in Montréal… very fresh food as well
I ordered take out so the pictures of the food doesn't look too appealing but I can confirm that the food was super tasty & delicious & a must try.
Everything was the perfect amount of flavor & spice. I also had amazing service from the server, he was very nice. Made my partner taste mango lassi to see how they liked it & it was honestly one of the best mango lassi's I've tasted.
I will definitely dine in next time I go, the restaurant was super clean, nice atmosphere & big enough for a good amount of people.
If you're around that area, don't hesitate to stop by if you're in the mood for indian cuisine.
