For the past 30 years, Chef Anil has been cooking up creative and delicious dishes from all over India. Born and raised in Delhi, India, Anil got his Diploma from the culinary school. He has worked as Chef in elite 5-star hotels like Oberoi’s, Park Royal and Park hotel in Delhi. He has also launched an Indian restaurant in Moscow, Russia in the year 1997. In 2006, he participated in the LE CORDON BLEU – CULINARY CUP held in New Delhi. Later in the year 2006, Anil got an opportunity to come to Montreal, Canada to work for a fine dining Indian restaurant. Now Anil is all excited with this new venture to cater the people of Montreal and test their tastebuds with the food from all over India.
Masala Art emerges as a consistently flavorful Indian dining spot with bold spices and dishes that feel like home cooking elevated with a refined touch. While in town on business (with my wife) - we came across this little hidden gem of a restaurant. The name "Masala Art" is no mistake, they make authentic Indian cuisine an'art'!!! unsure of what the various dishes were, we asked the wait staff to make suggestions. We couldn't be more pleased! The tastes, & textures of this food was beyond anything we have ever had at ANY of the much larger chains in the Toronto area!! We purposefully chose more food than we could eat in one sitting - to be sure we could try extra dishes, & to make sure we had leftovers for the next day! It was an absolute delight, & the staff were Great! Thank you for an absolutely fantastic gastric experience! We will undoubtedly be eating here again - next time we come to Mtl!!
Heard of this place from word of mouth & thoroughly enjoyed the food! We had ordered the Delhi platter, chicken tikka & chicken seekh kabob as appetizers for 5 individuals & it was plenty. The flavor & spice of the seekh kabob was very nice along with the chutney that they serve with it. The butter chicken & lamb vindaloo were great as well. The lamb vindaloo was unique & unlike any other lamb vindaloo we've had. It was a bit sweet for our liking so would definitely recommend requesting it to be spicy next time. Overall, loved the experience & will be back soon!
I have a number of deliveries from Indian restaurants & each time there was always a dish that disappointed, but not so with Masala Art. The food was delivered with the mild heat I ordered & was thoroughly delicious. Large portions & well packaged. With a wide food range I'm looking forward to trying a wide selection over time. I will definitely make the restaurant my go to.

Le "Brunch du dimanche" comporte plusieurs nouveaux plats à découvrir. J'ai adoré le Chicken Masala Dosa & sa délicieuse salsa. Merci à l'hôtesse qui nous a gentiment expliqué, en français, le contenu du menu ! C'est certain que je vais y retourner.
First visit but certainly not the last. Food was terrific. Service good but not rushed. Not a fancy environment but if you want really good food I don't think you will be disappointed.
Me & my fiance organized our engagement lunch here. The staff was really friendly & accommodated all of our needs. They even let us stay through their afternoon break. We were ~25 people & everyone enjoyed it. Food was served quickly & it was delicious.
The staff are amazing & kind. The food is excellent especially the Naan. It feels like we are in India. Most restaurants here they make Naan very thick but Masala Art makes it perfect. We loved the experience.

I've eaten at Masala Art a couple of times & have ordered delivery several times. The food is always fantastic, especially the onion bhajis. The restaurant itself is good, but the lighting is really, really bright. Kind of a cafeteria vibe to it, not really the mood for dinner.
Everything we ordered was delicious & fresh. The tamarind sauce was the best I've had. We had butter chicken, salmon, yellow dal, onion bhaaji 😋😋😋 delicious.
Was my second time there. First time for a friend's bday dine in. This time take out. Had Butter Chicken, Aloo Gobi, Chicken 65, Saag Paneer, Samosas... etc. The food is delicious...everything was so tasty. Great service. Highly recommended!

One of the best Indian Restraunt in Town. We never think about going at other place whenever we wish to eat out. Whatever your eat there I mean their whole Menu is very tasteful, plus their service & hospitality. I recommend everyone to try their food. They have Special Breakfast menu for weekends as well.
Went for the first time with my family last night & I was pleasantly surprised. Great restaurant with amazing Indian flavourful dishes. We got Delhi Chaat platter, lamb briyani, chicken tawa, lamb chops & fish curry. Their garlic naan is to die for! Warm & cozy atmosphere. The owner was very welcoming & friendly. I highly recommend to try this restaurant.
The food here is awesome. I love their palak paneer. It's got a pleasant acidity to it. I frequently order it. This restaurant is a must for quality Indian food.
