Marouch reçoit des éloges pour le petit déjeuner libanais authentique et une gamme de plats frais et savoureux tels que foul, msabaha et shakshouka, avec des portions généreuses et des prix très raisonnables. Le service est régulièrement décrit comme chaleureux et attentif par une équipe familiale, ce qui crée une atmosphère accueillante et conviviale. Bien que la nourriture rappelle souvent la maison, quelques observations évoquent un décor simple et daté ainsi que des soucis occasionnels de propreté dans les toilettes et sur les couverts, et certains plats peuvent sembler plus chers; mais ces points n'obscurcissent pas l'impression générale d'un endroit libanais fiable et chaleureux.
The service was impeccable, the lady who served us was so sweet & helpful. The food was amazing, really reminded me of Lebanon & not to mention the tea that comes with the food was great. The Arabic music added to the comfortable atmosphere & the prices are great.
My family & I (14 people) stopped in for breakfast while visiting the Montreal area from London, ON. Let me tell you, we felt like we were transported to Lebanon as soon as we walked through the door. The atmosphere was pleasant, the owners were beyond friendly, & the food was AMAZING. Service was fast, food portions were large & generous, restaurant was clean & hospitality was 10/10. We would definitely visit again & are so thankful for such a memorable dining experience 🤍
The service was excellent but the navet wasn't good as you see in the picture & the manoushe (pita fromage) was overpriced this is why i gave 4 stars instead of 5 .
One the things that really stood out for me was the kindness & smile of the girl that served us. It was my first time eating fatteh & foul. I must say the fatteh with added meat was sooooo delicious. The foul wasn't my favorite but it was still very good. Me & my gf really enjoyed this family owned restaurant & will definitely comeback!
The family is friendly & nice with the kids.
The food is normal but I can't say its testy. Tea is free. the tables are small, there is no space to put all the dishes on the table so its not convenient at all.
But the main concern is the cleanliness, the toilet is dirty as well as the spoons & the forks, table are also not cleaned well, no one is wearing gloves from the staff, they need extra effort on this point. When you decide to go ask for disposal cups & spoons.
Good vegetarian options; nice salads n the Lebanese pizza they had was nice as well. They make some good black tea with lemon & honey; appreciated. Simple, not expensive & good food.
The owner is extremely friendly & makes it a point to know regular visitors. Takes the extra effort to make the dishes with any particular likings remembered (for example I prefer more spices, hotter & a light flavor of lemon on top of the balila & he remembers).
Fantastic experience at Marouch. The food was flavorful & beautifully presented, & the service was friendly & attentive. The warm ambiance made for a memorable visit. Highly recommend!
Food is delicious. The medium sized portions are enough for 4 people. We were explained that it can feed just 1 OR max 2 people. (Order & judge for yourself).. based on that we ordered way too much & obviously it came up to be more than expected. The manaish came out uncooked (Cheese melted but dough was still half raw). The complimentary tea is very very nice & generous. I had to wait to pay in order for the lady at the cashier to finish her small talk with a previous customer. I stood for 3-4 mns just looking at her to acknowledge me, & she did by saying just a minute & proceeded to continue her conversation & met the customers friend…. lastly any business that puts an atm machine in their business & takes cash only & tells you to withdraw from the machine that has $3-$4 in fees, not cool..
This place is beautiful in its simplicity; it takes me back to my homeland. The homemade food is incredibly delicious, & the smiles & service are full of love. Thank you for everything!
Je suis allé à ce restaurant libanais pour le déjeuner, & c'était une expérience absolument incroyable ! Tout a surpassé mes attentes. Les saveurs étaient authentiques, les plats généreusement servis, & la présentation soignée. Le service était également impeccable : chaleureux & attentif, sans être envahissant. Que ce soit le pain frais ou les plats principaux, tout était parfaitement exécuté. Je recommande vivement à tous ceux qui souhaitent découvrir ou redécouvrir la cuisine libanaise. Ce sera désormais une adresse incontournable pour moi. Bravo à toute l'équipe !
