I'm still buzzing from the most incredible dining experience at Mare! This restaurant absolutely blew my mind - every bite was a celebration of extraordinary Italian cuisine. We went for the chef's choice tasting menu & it was pure magic: bold flavors, stunning presentations, & dishes so delicious they left us speechless. Honestly, everything we tried was outstanding, but four plates stood out as my absolute favorites (check the attached photos - those are the ones that stole the show!).

Beyond the food, the atmosphere is elegant, luxurious, & wonderfully peaceful-perfect for enjoying every course without feeling rushed. The interior design is stunning, & the service deserves special recognition. Every member of the team was genuinely attentive, knowledgeable, & made us feel truly welcomed throughout the evening.

We originally had an event planned at another spot, but somehow ended up here by mistake… & honestly, it felt like pure destiny!

One of the best meals period we had in Canada . Bass was the restaurant manager & hands down made the evening even more incredible. We were so impressed by how professional he was & how he seemed to really enjoy his job. His recommendations were great! We had the tasting menu & everything was so flavorful. The gnocchi w porcini mushrooms was phenomenal. The appetizers were delicious. Wine pairing recommendation was spot on. They were very kind to my son too. Everyone was great.

Honestly the food, & cocktails were amazing but the restaurant was too loud to think at some points. I think this is a personal preference as if you like loud 80s music it would be a vibe. The service was great but maybe a little too fussy for my liking but again that is a personal preference.

Honestly what an amazing experience . The hostess Ella was the cutest person ever & really made sure we felt super comfortable. The food was amazing & the vibe was so good. The waiters were all truly so amazing & helpful. Get the seabass + butter pasta w extra caviar deliciousss . Def will be back 💕

What can I say. I never write reviews but something unique happened prompted me to share. Yes, the food & service was fantastic at Mare. Really what you would expect for exquisite dining. But what moved me was the EXTRA mile that Bass extended to me at the end of the evening. My hotel was about a 3mins walk. Some of the staff tried to find an old umbrella for me to have but could not find. Bass told his staff he was returning & walked me to the hotel in the pouring rain, with the doggie bag, to ensure I was soaked on the way back. Thanks you Bass & all the staff that made my work dinner an even more pleasurable experience!

Last night I had the opportunity to try this new restaurant at the old port.
The value for money is absolutely incredible: only 28 dollars per lobster burrata!!!!

I ate two appetizers (burrata & crostino with tuna), a first course (gnocchi with peas & red shrimp) & an incredible dessert( creme caramel)

The service was detailed & curated.
Exceptional food.
The bill is absolutely proportionate.

I will definitely come back
