Review Summary

Marché Korea is a popular destination for those seeking a wide variety of authentic Korean and Japanese grocery items, ranging from fresh produce and specialty meats to hard-to-find snacks and pantry staples. The spacious, clean, and well-organized store offers a convenient shopping experience complemented by a friendly and helpful staff. Many visitors appreciate the on-site cafeteria, which serves generous portions of delicious hot dishes like fried chicken, noodles, and soups at reasonable prices, providing an excellent value for a quick meal. While most experiences are positive and highlight the shop as a go-to location for quality ingredients and authentic dining, some patrons have noted occasional inconsistencies in food temperature or consistency. The inclusion of free parking adds to the appeal, making this well-stocked market a highly recommended stop for anyone interested in Korean cuisine.

nice variety of store-made food & snacks, a bit on the expensive side for certain products though (for what they are)

This is hands down the best Korean store in Montreal now. Been going there for ten years & since their move across the street to the bigger location with ample parking this place has only gotten better. Variety of choice, not just stocked with products from one chaebol, great ready-to-eat options, kind & helpful staff. I will continue to go back every week.

A variety of different types of kimchi, they had a decent selection for noodles & other items. You can also order food after you checkout behind the cashiers. Smelled pretty good will definitely order next time we're there.

A little hidden gem for Korean food. In addition to Korean groceries, this convenience store also has a small cafeteria serving a wide variety of Korean dishes. We ordered the Jajangmyeon & the LA Galbi set meal. The total came to around $30 for two dishes, which felt reasonable for the quality. Groceries are on the pricier side but understandable given that they have to import most of the products.

I stopped by this Korean store along rue sherbrooke mtl & was pleasantly surprised by the variety they offer. The shelves are packed with a great selection of Korean products, & they even have an in-store cafeteria like serving fresh meals & drinks.
I tried the pork katsu, a piece of fried chicken (the leg was only about $3 + tax), & a matcha latte. Everything tasted great. The chicken was incredibly crispy on the outside & juicy inside-honestly the highlight of my meal. The pork katsu was also delicious, especially paired with the rice. They served kimchi & a soft tofu soup on the side, which made the meal feel even more comforting & authentic.
It was also my first time trying a matcha latte, & I ended up really liking it.
My total came to around $28 CAD for everything. It's a bit pricey for a solo lunch, but if you're craving Korean food & want something tasty & satisfying, this spot is definitely worth checking out.
