I've been going to this restaurant for over 10 years, & it has never disappointed.
The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, & authentic across all the locations I've visited. It's one of those places you can always count on for a satisfying meal.
The prices are also very reasonable-our family of five can enjoy a full meal without feeling like we've spent an entire paycheck, which is rare these days.
The service is another highlight. The staff is always calm, friendly, & welcoming, which makes the overall experience even more enjoyable.
A reliable go-to spot for great food, good value, & a relaxed dining experience. Highly recommended!
We like Marathon Souvlaki because it's easy & convenient, & the food is good. It's not the best Greek food you'll ever try, but it's decent for the price & the type of restaurant. We're always happy with the food, & the portions are great for the price.

We ordered from this restaurant today. The plates we got were soooo good. Generous portions, great prices. The quality of food was amazing. Enough tzatziki sauce on our pitas. & the salads, wow. Tomato slices big & juicy. Enough dressing. Delivery time was good too. Will definitely order from there again! Thank you for making delicious food!
5 stars still don't seem to make this place enough justice. I have been going occasionally to this restaurant for about 2 years now & it just never disappoints. It is a very fair price considering the amazing quality of food they offer, the service is always top notch & not just from the waiter! The hostesses, the buss boys, I'm not sure if the people on the side of the main door are cooks but even them! you can tell everyone puts love & effort into bringing a good experience for the customers! The waiter that has served me the most so far I unfortunately do not know his name but he is the sweetest, most attentive waiter ever!! But I really have nothing bad to say about any of the staff, the waiter with the tattoos is super nice as well, the waiter with the great hair I know you know who you are ahahah you are awesome as well!! I won't forget to mention the girls at the cash whenever I decide to go express, always a smile on their face & super sweet as well, anyway!! Top notch staff, top notch food would recommend 1000000%
This was one of the best meals I had in Montreal. The service was so quick we got our food in less than 10 minutes & the restaurant was super busy. The only down side is that there is hardly any parking- we found a spot but I have no idea where everyone else parked. Also the prices were super reasonable. We got two meals with salads & drinks for $40 USD.
EDIT The prices have gone up from 12,75$ to 20$ for the souvlaki pita plate & the quality has downgraded. Tiny piece of feta (today it was 2mm thick) less vinaigrette sauce, less black olives, etc even the candy at the end. We used to come often but we cannot afford to come as often & we now share a plate & buy a second pita. .......... This is our comfort food. Delicious greek food, affordable (which is rare nowadays) & quick service. I always have the souvlaki (pork) plate with Marathon salad & half & half (rice/potatoes). If you prefer to have the greek salad, the tomatoes are so fresh & tasty, you won't be disappointed. The only downsides to the Laval location are the parking (very limited) & the A/C is too cold (we're always freezing).

I'm not sure how yo rate it, I didn't find anything special about this place. Price was high for the quality of food they served. Setting it nice for sure
This Marathon is the original & where it all began. If you grew up in Chomedey Laval in the eighties, this was an institution to you. The amazing thing is that they haven't changed the food since. Eating here is like going back in time. Great food, great service, great price. There's a reason that they are still here & still busy, so many years on.
I've said this a million times about this resto. . The price, quality, taste, & speed of the service is unmatched. with these crazy times in increase of prices everywhere, this place has barely gone up in price & the portions are still really good. Service with a smile, very outgoing & so speedy Always packed, expect to wait 20min , but the experience is worth it I recommend the loose meat gyro with he marathon salad Delicious!!
Great staff! Warm atmosphere! Quality food at an affordable price! A place for the whole family run by Family! I love the Gyro, kids love the chicken souvlaki & the loose gyro plate. Dips are Awesome! Cozy dining hall with friendly staff. You can order take-out or delivery as well.
Great food like always. Went here at least 15 times & it's great every time. The food is tasty & well made, meat is juicy. The food is totally worth the price. The employees are patient & helpful & really nice. The only downside is the parking that is small & it takes time to find a parking spot (be careful because people may scratch your car) but overall great place.
The place is overall good , the atmosphere is not great, clean but feels like a cafeteria then a cozy greek restaurant, staff are respectful & attentive overall, the food is also overall good ( had the chicken pita & Calamari), the quantity is not at all generous, normally if it is high price like that it is justified by the large quantity served, not the case ( they must either reduce the prices or at least give a nice generous quanity & not skimp on ingredients) , I am often at other greek restaurants & others in general & I do see higher prices like that but it is always justified at least by much larger quantities, the greek salad is very small & you feel they are skimping on some ingredients e.g. papers & the feta cheese is so thin & almist any olive oil & literally one olive & it is spread thin across the plate to fill plate space, the pita was good on the other hand, the chicken is nice & well marinateand & the tatzeki was very good as well. The Calamari was good but also small quantity for the price. Conclusion it is too expensive for what it is.
