Very average to below average Greek restaurant. Once a great Greek restaurant in Chomedey laval on Blvd. notre Dame, the family owned business built this into a multi location & in guessing franchise model as the food is sub par. Famous for their home made salad dressing & silver dollar style (frozen) fries, all else is not the same. Service is slow Atmosphere is outdated & needs a serious update. Value. Food to quality to taste to portion to price - on the lower spectrum of value. I seriously can't recommend anything that I would take responsibility for should you likely not like it. The fries & salad dressing was the best (of the worst) & I can't say more. This is a real shame as the brand was big way back. I guess the family has opted for mediocre & money over quality & pride in the food they serve. Who's to say they are wrong. For me - it's wrong for me. If you want great affordable authentic Greek? Go to Greek town grill in chomedey or the West Island or Yai Sou on queen mary.View more

Il y a des restaurants grecques...& il y a Marathon Souvlaki. Considéré comme le restaurant offrant le meilleur Souvlaki à Montréal par plusieurs gastronomes (dont nous!) , soit en gyro qu'en brochette, tout y est exquis dans une ambiance chaleureuse & familiale. Ma famille & moi y allons depuis plus de 20 ans & honnêtement, jamais avons-nous été déçus. Cette succursale, comme celle de Dollard-des-Ormeaux ou de Laval, est excellente. & celle-ci, à Montréal, possède un service & une cuisine tout aussi exceptionnelle. Nous avons réservé pour un groupe de plus de 25 personnes & nous n'avons jamais été mieux traités ailleurs: service chaleureux, attentif & empressé & une nourriture fraîche, goûteuse & merveilleusement présentée dans des portions généreuses. Bref, seul, en couple ou en famille, votre visite à cet établissement sera un succès! Merci beaucoup à l'équipe du restaurant pour un service 5 étoiles & des convives (dont la fêtée) ravis & rassasiés par des repas (& un excellent café) divins! Nous avons organisé un anniversaire en fin de semaine avec 25+ invités & nous avons décidé qu'il aurait lieu chez Marathon Souvlaki à Montréal. Nous n'avons comme d'habitude pas été déçus! Toute l'équipe a accueilli notre groupe avec le sourire. Le service, comme toujours, était rapide & soigné, & la bouffe était délicieuse & abondante! Tous les invités ont été très heureux de leur expérience & ceux qui ne connaissaient pas le restaurant Marathon se sont promis d'y retourner. Un gros merci! Nous allons manger chez Marathon, en couple & en famille, tant à Laval qu'à DDO, depuis au moins 20 ans. Nous habitons maintenant sur la Rive Sud & notre seul regret est qu'on n'y trouve pas de Marathon Souvlaki 😉.View more

Good greek place. Overall good experience. Portions are big for the price. Some little things about the dishes: - Wish they had different kind of potatoes/fries because it ruins a bit the dish. They are dry & noy much taste. - Pork souvlaki was a bit dry too. Otherwise free parking. Easily accessible.View more
