Visually really appealing, great vibes, soft music, enjoyable atmosphere. Biggest disappointment was the menu is basically a clone of k2+bistro a couple streets up. If it had been named the same as the original location I would have expected it to be a part of a chain. But, coming in with the expectation of a unique menu that fits the theme can be a let down. The BBQ & wok menu items where very good, but again indistinguishable from k2+. Expect to pay about 100$ for two people.View more

The place looks wonderful, & the service was impeccable. The food was great except for one or two items we liked a bit less. As for any all you can eagerly place, i strongly recommend ordering small quantities at a time. We made the mistake of ordering too much. However, the server was very comprehensive about it!View more

I love this place so much! It's hard to get a table when you didn't reserve in advance but when you're in, that place is nice! The service is quick & the food is good! +1 point for the little pokemon added on the sushis! With my friends we couldn't stop looking around at all the anime references! So fun!View more

My friend & I have been wanting to eat here for so long. We finally got the chance to try it out in late December & we were very disappointed. The anime decorations are beyond amazing, there's all type of anime figurines, wallpapers, etc. The service was not to our expectations, we didn't receive a lot of what we ordered. We had to wait over 15 minutes for the waiter to bring our bill. As for the food all of their sushi didn't meet our standards - tasted raw or very gooey. I personally had a bad acid reflux / gas reaction for two weeks & half because of how deep fried some sushis were made. I personally had a terrible experience & so did my friend. We won't be coming back again that's for sure. However I do think people should try it out once at least maybe their experience might be better than mine.View more

I love the whimsical experience of this restaurant. An excellent way to attract tourists & the food is well worth it. Sometimes, you even get a little figurine on the platter that you get to keep. They torch the rolls in front of you. The only reason why this isn't a full 5-star review is because one of the servers quite literally dumped a plate of food on our table.View more

This is the perfect example when you put too much effort in the environment to attract people & nothing in the food. I've tried a lot of sushi restaurant, also in Japan & this was one of the worse. Each piece with different kind of fish was tasteless, I couldn't feel any difference & taste in the fish. Too much rice & no salt at all. The only things with a taste was the smoked ones for obvious reasons. The worst part was the price: almost 60 dollars per person including taxes. They could justify the price if they wanted to replicate a unique experience like the themed restaurant that you can find in Japan with thematic food & drinks. But this is only a simple all you can eat with bad food covered with anime posters & figures only to attract anime fans. The only positive thing was the service, really fast & kind. I give 2 stars cause the place is amazing, very cool, the service fast, kind & accurate, but the food I can say on my experience one of the worse I ever ate. The uramaki don't taste of anything, unless they're spicy or torched. It's not worth the price. Sorry about that.View more
