Such a lovely experience at maman in Notre-Dame O! The atmosphere is beautiful, warm, & welcoming, & you can really feel the care that goes into both the food & the space.

I especially love the French-inspired food, with comforting flavors & traditions from France blended beautifully with a Montréal feel. Everything feels thoughtful, fresh, & full of character.

The only downside for me is the noise level when the restaurant gets crowded. I can absolutely understand why people would give maman 5 stars-the food, service, & setting are all wonderful-but when it's busy & loud, it takes away a little from the cozy, intimate feeling that makes the place so special.

Still, it's a charming spot with delicious food & a lovely atmosphere, & I'd definitely come back. A Montréal gem, especially if you can catch it during a quieter moment 🇫🇷

Very disappointing experience. The food was far from what we expected, & we couldn't even finish it. I definitely do not recommend eating here. It is completely different from the New York version & seems to share the name only. If you're expecting the same quality & taste as in New York, you will likely be disappointed.

A lovely brunch place with ample space to sit & enjoy delicious cookies & coffee & oh so generously served, rich salads! Could t even finish but took away what was left as it would be a crime to waste such good food. Service was very kind & helpful, too. Also, even if it's not our scene, if you're after hip options for beverages & food (white matcha, lavender hot chocolate, truffled croque monsieur etc ), this is definitely your place
